Decided to uninstall this addon.. After several weeks of issues with this addon & no response from ShareThis , FF or Twitter on the problem I just uninstalled it & moved on with a different one. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Always liked this app but the past 2 wks nothing but issues when I try to share something to Twitter . When I click on the Twitter icon to connect/share I get the ShareThis homepage. They are an approved app for me on Twitter so I don't know what the issue is lately. I contacted Twitter which is as useless as contacting FF "no response". I sent 3 emails to ShareThis support & they must be out to the same lunch as Twitter & FF "no response" from them either. Uninstalled the addon & reinstalled it & still no luck with the problem. Sharing things with other sites via ShareThis is no problem only Twitter. Really a PITA & totally pissed maybe Chrome is the solution to this issue since I had no problems when I used them. Must have been D & D when I switched back to FF.
Jonathan .... I love this TYVM as a senior geek the address bar font on FF was harder to read then on Chrome..
Love this ** can you feel the hug ** sigh...
Stinks with FF 9.0 . It hangs terribly & the only reason I haven't done the uninstall yet is because it has TweetMeme. But my frustration is over weighing the benefits of TweetMeme now.. They need to get it together FF & this addonThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.3). This user has 5 previous reviews of this add-on.
Just found out why so many issues with StumbleUpon lately it seems SU has decided to change their format & it leaves a lot to be desired .. Many unhappy users so proceed at your own risk its definitely not the same anymore so time to say bye. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.97). OK what happened here ? What happened with StumbleUpon between 2:00pm today & 4:00pm today EST (12/13/11) ? Everything worked fine this morning then I went back on & I see these horrific changes with spammie survey's & FaceBook bull garbage to boot ? What happened & who got drunk at the switch or did StumbleUpon get hacked ? This used to be a nice site but not now & what's with this "survey monkey" bull that keeps coming up on the Stumble site ?
I'm running another AV scan because now I don't trust the StumbleUpon site & something is very wrong..
Doesn't work with FF 8 another oneThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.3). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Doesn't work with FF8 but then nothing does.. When will Mozilla learn to stop messing everything up with their unfinished "Rapid Releases".. I have uninstalled more AddOns & Programs because they are not compatible with FF upgrades (?).. Also, FF might work a little better if they would dump the FB api that hangs up everything.. Today 12/6/11 FF crashed again so no Internet up until now **sigh**.. Fingers crossed. This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
As a follow up to my original review of 10/22/11, I finally had to remove this add-on it kept hanging up & freezing FF & is just not compatible with FF7. I noticed the difference in FF7 response as soon as I removed it . To bad because now I lost TweetMeme with it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.3). This used to be a good add on now with FF7 it stinks. Constantly hangs up & the only reason I keep it is because it supports (?) TweetMeme otherwise I would dump it like some of the other FF add-ons.. You have to wait & wait & wait for the site you want to share with to open & after awhile you forget why you are even doing it.. If I could rate it a zero I would.. I am using Windows7.. I just downloaded the AddInto add-on today & I can tell its head over heals better than the others like it & I've tried several.. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it an 11.. It doesn't hang up & I have it set up as a right click on text & it flows easily..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).
@ Vidiks... Windows7 ... I'm having the same issues as you are & it started right after I downloaded FF6.0.. Removed it & miss it but it was hanging up & received error msgs . It didn't like TweetMeme & started having issues with DIGG it kept saying URL in error which was not so since I put the same URL out on StumbleUpon.. Got tired of playing with it so removed it..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.3). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Just need to amend my review from earlier today.. I finally decided to take off my stupid hat & go into Shareaholic option's feature & found two other options for the icon.. Yeah !! I decided on the 'right click context menu option' for now.. Now if I could figure out what's wrong with the Twitter site today I'd be in PC heaven.. 5 stars though..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.0). The Shareaholic icon too close to the Homepage icon.. I would give it a 5 star if the Shareaholic icon was located in another spot or could be moved to another spot.. Am I just missing the option to do that ? Also having some issues with the Yahoo Buzz (Ybuzz) link.. Otherwise love the app..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.0).
Just had an update of Firefox & had to download again the AddThis add on but I can't get the icon for this to appear it used to be in my toolbar.. what happened how do I get the icon to appear ?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.1).
This works for me.. I had changed my browser yesterday from IE to Mozilla & when it brought over my favorites list they just came over in alphabetical order which is o.k. However, I had some of my favorites in IE broken down into folders which contained topic related sites. In IE these folders were always at the top of the favorites list separate from the favorites not in folders but in Firefox they were mixed in with the other bookmarked sites which was not what I was used to or wanted. I was going to go back into IE & export the favorites list to a file & save it to my documents & then import the file to Firefox; but then I found this addon and this was so much easier.. Thank you, love it ..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).
