Essential! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is an essential feature that should really be part of the mobile Firefox! Thank you!
(Now, where the hey is the donate link for this add on....)
Adequate, but Xmarks is still better Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I'll give this add-on a rating of 3 stars. Why? Because even if it's useful for syncing between Firefox installations on the 3 computers I use (office, home, and laptop), it has *severe* drawbacks when compared to Xmarks, e.g.:
** No way to access my bookmarks without installing Sync.
Sometimes I'm forced to use a computer that's not mine. Obviously, I don't want to replace the bookmarks there with mine. With Xmarks, I can go to their website and use the bookmarks directly.
This is especially troublesome because there is no Firefox for Symbian (I'm use a Nokia E72-1, which can access Xmarks' website just fine)
** No "synchronization profiles".
Xmarks allow 'selective synchronization'. Sometimes, that's what I want to do: synchronize only certain bookmarks to other browsers. Can't do that with Firefox Sync: It's an all-or-nothing proposition. (And the lack of web-available bookmark collection makes this especially painful; had there such facility, I can just fire up the web-available bookmarks set)
** No bookmark restore facility.
Sometimes I made a mistake and whopped a bunch of bookmarks. With Xmarks, I can restore them all easily. No such joy with Firefox Sync.
** Not capable of syncing with non-Firefox browsers
Granted, I don't use this much. BUT STILL, it's nice to have that capability.
In conclusion, I'll echo what others have written in the reviews: Please oh please, just acquire Xmarks' assets and continue the service. Xmarks might not be profitable, but Mozilla is a non-profit organization anyways, and leveraging Xmarks' assets just *might* introduce a new venue of funding source.
TB3 version, please Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been using Lookout satisfactorily in TB2. Now I'm using TB3 (RC1), but unfortunately it can't run in TB3 . . . an update, maybe? :-)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.1).

I wait with bated breath the day when Foxmarks is upgraded for Firefox 3 . . .This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.45).
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
2.4.5 is quite good, if only there's an option to collapse the overly-long menu to more submenusThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.6).
