Excellent! Very useful extension!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you!
But I slightly modified it: I added the possibility to ignore the Blacklist without arasing it - if the first esxtenson name is equal "-" it means - to ignore the Blacklist.
Here is the code:
if (EOMBlackListArray){
if (EOMBlackListArray[EOMBlackListArray.length-1] == "-") {EOMShowIt = true;}
else for (let i = 0; i < EOMBlackListArray.length; i++)
if (EOMBlackListArray[i] == EOMaddon.name.toLowerCase()) {
EOMShowIt = false;
break;
}
else EOMShowIt = true;
}
This change allows me to keep the Blacklist, but when I want (in some rare cases) to ignore it, I can do this by adding "-," in the beginning and then return to it by erasing "-,"

Hi Chris thanks for your reply to my query.

I've found a usable workaround now, with Classic Theme Restorer to put the app button in the toolbar and S3 Menu Wizard to put Extension Options where I want it.

Seems to be working great in FF29 and Windows 7. Cheers :-)

Please you could fix Extension Options Menu :-(

Can you separate the Right click and the Middle click options?
Cause I like the Middle click to visit homepage and I don't use the Right click to restart Firefox and my "Restart" menu is hidden.

And add a table cell to be able to see "at a glance" all the items not showed.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.8).

I'm not sure what you mean by your second request. If you mean in the options page, I would have to basically copy the entire extension to the settings page. I won't be doing that.

I have thought about separating the right and middle-click options, but I have to get the translators to translate new strings so I haven't done it yet. I'm not sure if I will, however, you can set the option to show the restart item, but use userchome.css to hide it so it doesn't automatically restart. If you don't know what userchrome.css is, here is the URL with an explanation: http://kb.mozillazine.org/index.php?title=UserChrome.css or you can use the Stylish add-on. Add this to the file block the menu item:

#EOMappPopup > menuitem[label="Restart"], #EOMtoolsPopup > menuitem[label="Restart"], #EOMbuttonPopup > menuitem[label="Restart"], #PanelUI-EOMvbox > menuitem[label="Restart"], #EOMappPopup > menuseparator, #EOMtoolsPopup > menuseparator, #EOMbuttonPopup > menuseparator, #PanelUI-EOMvbox > menuseparator { display: none; }

Very useful extension. Beta version below works on Firefox Aurora 29.0a2 (2014-02-09).
Icon and title can be more like Aurora style.

3 for 3! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Yes! Before finding this one I had the choice of a few AO option buttons to choose from. One pulled up the options in a tab and another pulled it up in an annoying window that always was TOO TALL and difficult to resize.

This one really is superior because of the dropdown menu- especially for rookie users.

I think that a big problem in the tech industry is they assume that everyone using the tech has an IT degree and then designs end up being too cumbersome for common users. Even for advanced users cutting a click here and there adds up quickly and speeds up the flow.

This developer has it together!

Perfect!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After the last upgrade of nightly and the switch to the new Australis UI, the drop-down in the icon doesn't work (it shows up empty). Hope this is solved soon.

Been using it for years. 5 stars from me.

Edit: ...as expected the problem was resolved in a blink of the eye!! Totally worth the 5 stars - if we could add more, I'd give it 10 ;)

Yes, the conflicting addon seems to be Classic Theme Restorer 1.0 that tries to "fix" some of the new elements changed by the Australis UI. 2.8beta of EOM fixes the issue.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.7).

Are you using any other extensions that try to revert the changes Australis brought us? This addon is still working for me, except the titlebar menu option doesn't do anything and the text on the icon is in the wrong place. I did receive another report of it not working, but with an Australis fix addon also (I'm going to see if I can make them compatible.) I have only tested on XP and 7.

Edit: I just posted 2.8beta. You should try it to see if it works for you. To get it, click the "Development Channel" link at the bottom of the page.

Very clever Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just installed this along with Themes menu without realizing theyre from the same author, and instantly love em both. Am also using Cleanest Addon Manager, and Add-ons Context Menu, which are both brilliant but Extension Options Menu adds a whole new level to ease of access. Thanks

btw a suggestion to improve the options menu: http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/8922/wvhe.png - personally i dont read things close enough sometimes and was surprised when that second last option wasnt ticked and it automatically restarted on me, so thought if it were easier to see how the last two options are linked, might be better.

@SecurityExpert, the install.rdf lists compatibility from 17.0 to 22.0 and heard AMO have relaxed the version requirement checks explaining why it still installs on 25.0, but possbly not in the other direction for older versions of Firefox, so you should try changing that 17.0 to a 16.0 (on lines 222 and 229) its the addon called {1feca320-6b4d-11df-a08a-0800200c9a66}.xpi

edit: its no problem about the wording really, just thought if you updated it, may wanto tidy it up while doing compatibility changes, was a purely cosmetic suggestion and not a gripe. I dont use Australis, so this addon works without a hitch, but hope its updated soon for you

You are probably correct. I will work on the wording, but I'm planning on waiting until the Australis theme is close to the Firefox's release channel. This extension still works for me, but the titlebar option doesn't do anything after Australis and the icon text is in the wrong place, so I'm going to be fixing that anyway.

Very usefull extension, but..

I like it, but it does not work with Firefox version 16. After installing Firefox 16 (deinstalled version 25), Mozilla Compatibility Check deactivated it. I forgot to stop the check. I do it with all newer (17+) versions. I do NOT care about Mozilla's stubborn compatibility check.

It worked with all versions (20, 23, 24, 25). It also worked with Nightly and Aurora. Four stars for your great add-on.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.7).

I only check compatibility with the latest (at the time of release of the extension) version of Firefox Extended Support Release channel which was 17 at the time this was released. It might still work all the way back to Firefox 3.6 excluding a few options, but I don't want to try to support that much. It takes too much time to do all of that testing.

Very handy to have Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have 60+ add-ons enabled at any given time so scrolling through the Add-ons Manger, locating an add-on, opening its options, and then having to go back and repeat the process is a bit too time consuming for me, so I really appreciate having much quicker access to my add-on's options.

I also like the added features such as enabling/disabling add-ons via a click, the restart option, the toolbar button menu, as well as the others.

I know that this add-on has been available for a long time, I'm just sorry that I didn't install it a few years back.

Thanks for developing, and maintaining it.

Works perfectly and even though i have over 50 addons installed it doesn't lag a bit popping up the menu.
Right-click to open about:addons and the ability to hide entries is all the functionality you could wish for.
Thanks!

Broken in OS X Lion

The extension options do not launch when trying to click on them.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1).

Approximately 200 people are currently using this extension on OS X. Although I can't personally check, that leads me to believe it should work. I would imagine you either have some profile corruption or there is a conflict with another extension. This is not a good place for us to communicate. Please use the support site if you need help.

Good extension manager, is it possible to add a "check for updates of all extensions" menu please?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0).

I won't be adding that option. That's too far outside the scope of this add-on.

Nice app, very useful. I have a question Is it possible to integrate "Extension option " menubar to "Add-ons" menebar in Thunderbird?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0).

It's not currently easily possible. When Firefox got the title bar menu, Mozilla added a menu type called "splitmenu" that makes that possible. It's not in Thunderbird yet. When a title bar menu is added to Thunderbird, I will add the option to this extension.

Oh! Shiny! There's even more nice things Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Wow! Thanks for the new features in 2.0. Thanks for making sure it works on Nightly (and Aurora, and Beta), too.
This is one of the add-ons I would really miss, if it wouldn't work.
Thanks again.
