My Reviews

diaspora* Easyshare

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works great for sharing images and videos. It would be nice if sharing selected texts (like post2friendica extension) or the link of the current site would be possible.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.1.1-signed).

NoScript Security Suite

Excellent addon (not perfect though) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I give 5 stars because I can't imagine there's any better alternative and the current version just works fine as well. Thanks for the excellent work! The problem actually lies in the poorly designed websites around the www. I believe NoScript has saved Firefox from several crashes until now. However, since some sites really don't work at all without turning on a lot of third-party Javascripts or has several embedded videos that ultimately lead to the feared crash just after turning them on.

Quick Search Bar

Working perfectly for Firefox 19.0.2, Ubuntu Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is just one of my favourite add-ons offering two awesome features at once! Just to note: the new version has made the search bar even more polished with MS Office's ribbon-like organization of search plugin icons. I don't get any white bar as reported by @Luutarhuri.One suggestion: the farely customizable keyboard shortcut option using numbers is a good beginning, but a more convenient way like using arrow keys (Firefox by default supports Alt+↓/↑ to select search plugins) would be desirable.

Edit: @peterfaj Thanks for the info! Why haven't I tried that out! Ctrl+↓/↑ works fine. It has to be mentioned at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly#w_search that I always take as a cheatsheet (though not your task…) I love this add-on even more!

QuickImage

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm really happy to see this new version supporting Firefox 3.6, which also includes great improvements such as the new right-click menu on the icon for immediate setting changes, special options for animated images and the new icon for the mode "prevent third-party images from loading". Except for the above-mentioned slight difficulties distinguishing the new icon from the one for the mode "allow all images to load", this release works almost perfectly!

@oxk4r: after uninstalling QuickImage, you can access the option over menu "Edit" → "options" → tab "contents" → check box "load images"

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.1).  This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.

Although I also wish a possibility to right-click the button to directly change the reloading setting (which is currently only accessible over the add-ons manager), I really like the idea and this function (blocking images) isn't offered by any other extension I find here. A useful must-have complement to NoScript!
