I finally find what I need. Other addons only give history stats based on visiting history, not time stats. I used to use LeechBlock, but I can completely control my browsing now. So I only need time stats. Thank you very much for this addon.
1) you have already categorized timer types with always on, pause on idle, etc. Could you make the "always on / video mode" based on a list of websites? There are just that many websites that people usually spend time on.
2) Customized idle timeout? One minute is kinda too short for long reading...
One question about timing:
If Firefox loses focus (e.g. mnimized), do you keep counting? I guess you do in video mode? This is kinda tricky since Flash fullscreen switches to flash process. However, if it's just texts, and firefox is not current windows, I am probably not reading anything...
Fantastic. The stupid Youtube option never worked, and finally I don't need to switch quality each time! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (7.0).
After sending out three emails with wrong identity in a row, I decided to search for a solution. This addon is just perfect. Thunderbird should adopt such options in their client directly. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).
@guuuuud C-Q is the default exit shortcut on many desktop environments (except Windows). It's supposed to be consistent for all applications. I guess that's why Mozilla implemented this.
Nice addon. C-W is just too close to C-Q...
After using it for more than half a year, I found NoScript to be the best security app ever existed. It reveals many potential threats on JS enabled sites. For most websites that I don't care, disabiling JS makes everything faster. Sync is decent and convenient, though doesn't work sometimes. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.1).
Time flies when I am visiting some sites, and it's usually too late when I look at the clock. This is a perfect solution. Nice jobThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.2).
Working perfectly in Mint 12, TB 11.0 after updating to 1.0.1This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).
Great add-on. I install Google toolbar just for its buttons, but even the toolbar doesn't have Google Reader. Now I can get rid of the toolbar and use this cleaner setup. Thanks. Great job. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.6).
That's the exact kind of addons I want! Simple, brilliant, transparent and solves the problem. I tried multiple flashes and reinstalled multiple times when using FF3 under 64bit ubuntu and the plugin barely worked with random crashes. Good thing is that it only crashes the flash window, not the browser, but it's still annoying. I have heard it's a common problem under Linux and it's the fault of Adobe. After I upgraded to FF4 yesterday, flash with textboxes blinks mysteriously and I can't fix it! This makes many video sites unusable. I just tried those sites again after using your plugin and they now display perfectly! I donated $3 because this is a MUST DONATE situation. If later I confirm the random crashes become rarer or disappear, I will donate more. Thanks for the great work!!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.6).
Perfect add-on. Never understood why the default setting leaves the search query there. It only adds burden to next search. @V10R37 It works for both enter and search key on my Ubuntu 10.10, FF 3.6.13.
FYI, this add-on actually WORKS on Linux. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 with the latest google chrome. After specify /usr/bin/google-chrome in preference, everything works like a charm. Author might has his reason for limiting the platform though.
The reason I need this is the flash in firefox hangs on from time to time. I can't switch youtube modes sometimes as well. The flash in my firefox is barely functioning, but chrome runs everything fine. I know probably it's just me, but this extension really helps.
The new interface and synchronizing mechanism are really really great!
I used RIL when it first released, with no synchronization and so I switched back to google bookmarks. Later, RIL adds a not so usable synchronization, cause usernames are random numbers. Now, finally, it has all I need and it even has tag and mobile functions!
I'm really glad that I checked back today.
