Version 0.3 makes this the best Instapaper add-on for Firefox by far. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Great add-on, much more lightweight than the existing browser extensions. I have a couple of suggestions for small additional features:
- An option for Firefox to generate a notification (using built-in OS X notifications or Growl) when a link is successfully saved
- An option for a right-click menu bar item, like Instaright (an older and now abandoned extension had).
Together these would allow users to (a) get feedback without needing the extension's add-on icon in Firefox's UI and (b) save links without using the keyboard
Make a Mac OS X version! We know you want Firefox users to switch to Safari but why deny those who don't want to.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed).
Has anyone else got this working on Mac OS X? Doesn't sort bookmarks. I'm on Mavericks 10.9.1.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.1-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Hi, I can't seem to get this to sort any bookmarks, either automatically, or using the 'Sort Bookmarks' command. Am using Firefox 24 on Mac OS X 10.8.4. Has this been tested on Mac? It used to work fine a few versions ago...I uninstalled and reinstalled but still no luck. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.1-signed).
Great app, but please provide the option to Reflow Text in the current tab, or at least to switch to the new Reflow Text tab - I imagine most users would want to read a the page they reflow immediately. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206-signed).
Great add-on, but big +1 for automatic rewriting of links - would make the add-on much more convenient.
Very useful, but could really do with a few more features
- option to hide images on new tabs, so a whole browser session can have images hidden
- a keyboard shortcut

Fantastic news - LiveClick is still under active development, and an alpha version compatible with FF13 will be released over the coming weeks.
Great, but would be even better if there was a version that allowed pinch-to-zoom on Mac OSXThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.537.1-signed). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
good, but please, please provide an option to stop shared pages being bookmarked! This user has a previous review of this add-on.
So this excellent add-on is still working, but it looks like it runs into problems with forthcoming releases.
It was one of the FF add-ons that stopped me migrating to Chrome. Does anyone know of any promising alternatives that boost bookmark toolbar functionality and don't resort to sidebars and so on?
Great work in progress. Looks like it'll be far superior to other browser PDF plugins. However it'd be great if a version for Macs could be made that uses native pinch-to-zoom gestures...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.361.1-signed). Good addon, improvement over F1 in some respects, but the colours are much uglier.
And please, please, as the user below says, add a preference to NOT bookmark all the pages shared.
Looks extremely promising, if it rendered all PDFs well, it would be far, far ahead of any other browser's PDF implementation, as its light, loads quickly, and has an excellent navigation/thumbnail sidebar.
However, it's not quite ready for primetime. I'm willing to put up with it not rendering some PDFs – you can click 'download' to open it in your standalone PDF viewer – but that misses the point.
The devs really should push out updates from the project to the extension more rapidly...
was, and still is a great extension. but development seems to have stalled. lots of feature requests still pending, and a gradually increasing list of problems as FF versions increase. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.2.0.1-signed). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Like some of reviewers below, I didn't upgrade to 0.9.9, and went straight to 0.9.10. I never saw a nag screen, and its been as stable as it was before.
So I can assume C.J. backtracked. I'm glad that this is still the same discreet and elegant extension as before. But I'm also wary of updating in the future in case this goes down the road of nagware. Perhaps if people keep emphasising this on here, it'll stop him making any ill-advised decisions to take the extension down that road.
In the meantime perhaps users should take the precaution of saving copies of this version to distribute in case future updates turn into nagware.
This issue has confused FF users for years, why don't do what this (excellent) add-on does by default?
Great extension. Any chance of allowing apple/cmd button for OSX for user-defined shortcuts?
Also, would it be possible to allow moving tabs to next/previous window, as Quickshift for Chrome does?
