I really miss this extension. Some UI extensions are really useful. This should have been built into Firefox.

Beyond Australis

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Love it! I used Mozilla Labs: Prospector - LessChrome HD for a while but it didn't work that great because it was mostly showcasing technology. I love the way the UI is crafted for The Fox, Only Better.

Mozilla Labs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Geeky, subtle, visible and calming :)

A Web Browser Renaissance

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I really like the Leonardo Da Vinci look of the image.
Also readability of tab titles and browser icons is perfect.

I'm in love again, sigh... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love Brief. Frankly this extension exemplifies why many people like Firefox. Firefox gives users the basics and the rest is added on by extensions. Thanks for the update :)

One tiny suggestion: The "Today" section is great because it allows me to see only a small portion of feeds but I'd love to be able to select any date from the stored feeds using a drop-down combo box instead of just one fixed date.

Unsorted Bookmarks Toolbar Button

Quick access is paramount Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Quick bookmarking for later is much better with this extension. Unsorted bookmarks are great for things that don't need to be buried in folders and are available for quick access followed by a delete or organization, but the menu structure of Firefox requires multiple steps. These multiple steps took long enough to make me turn away from unsorted bookmarks in standard form. Unsorted Bookmarks Toolbar Button solves this problem for me.

Places Maintenance

Extremely Simple, Extremely Practical Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I love the extreme simplicity of the UI.

Tool tips for the check boxes will be helpful to non-programmers. For example, what does Expire mean? As of this moment I really don't know what this option does. Although I can look at the source code and figure it out, not everyone is a programmer.

Tabbed Browsing Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Now Firefox is nothing more than a bunch of tabs and one menu button :)

Now for the things I like changed:
1. The toolbar shows in the Add-ons tab and it should stay hidden there.
2. The toolbar doesn't show when the mouse hovers over the Firefox menu or the window minimize/restore-maximize/close buttons in Windows and I think it should become visible.
3. The tab looks like it is part of the page when the background colour is light and it looks like it is bleeding onto the page when the background colour is dark. A line underlining the favicon and page title of the viewed tab along the same path as the line below tabs in the background will visually separate the tab. Also make the colour of this line lighter and not touching the edges of the current tab. This will mildly separate the tab from the page while emphasizing the favicon and the page title. Having said all that, there is an exception that has to be taken into account. Some extensions https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/brief/ have interfaces that match beautifully with the tab. I think extensions must be treated differently.
4. There is a blank area showing above when using Vertical Toolbar extension https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/vertical-toolbar/

Copy ShortURL

Really useful :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Really useful but I wish it had 3 more features:
1. Have an optional button that can be placed in a toolbar or selectively in the add-on bar.
2. Have an optional icon that can show up in the address bar.
3. Use the above mentioned buttons to expose the short URL if present without shortening the long one (my most wanted feature).
I'd really like to use this extension for its name's sake. There already are URL shortening extensions from their respective websites and also a tonne of other extensions that do the same thing but this is the only one I found that actually copies a short URL if present.
Thanks :)

Vertical Toolbar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I frankly thought it was going to be useless until I tried it. It is really good and I feel that I will get used to having a vertical bar and leave room for showing the URL and also have less clutter on the top, where I always look for controls I commonly use.

I wish Mozilla can incorporate something like this in Firefox and add more functionality to it. This is way better than the new Firefox 4 menu.

Mozilla add this to Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I just used this extension and really believe that it should be in the next Firefox as a standard feature. It probably won't be in the next Firefox so can you please update it to be compatible when the new version comes out. Firefox 4 does have a feature of showing you if the tab is open while you type in the address bar but you need to type while deleting the old URL or in a new tab. Your approach is much better.

What if you add a feature to open new tabs if the text doesn't match anything available.

You don't seem to mention that ' alone without Ctrl searches URLs of open pages and not titles.

File Title

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks! What a no brainer feature. I wish Firefox would give me the two options of choosing which name I want to call the saved file instead of making me manually copy the title when I it makes more sense.
