My Reviews

Don't know how I've gone months without it Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I had JSView in my old copy of Firefox, the one sitting on my laptop with the still-broken power jack. I used it all the time. With my new U3-enabled copy, I've gone months without using JSView, hacking my way through (X)HTML source and using Firebug's Script panel to figure out the JS behind pages. JSView is so much simpler, but I couldn't remember the name and was too lazy to search for it. Today I just decided to do a search in the Web Development category and it popped up on the second page of results for "status bar". Now that I have it back, I don't know how I've been tolerating the kludgy methods I used.

Wikipedia Toolbar

Outstanding add-on; improvements almost daily Rated 5 out of 5 stars

As this extension is currently being developed, daily updates are to be expected, but the work being done on this add-on is amazing.

Currently, the toolbar has progressed from being just basic text buttons to having a logo, search box, CSS-aware styling, a show/hide button available for the main toolbar, and much more. The to-do list is ever-expanding, and the developer is eager to continue work on the extension, despite only starting Firefox extension development a few days ago.

With more exposure, this extension could draw in a lot of feedback to help make it even more amazing!

Better Gmail 2

Great Compilation! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Despite the fact that many different people wrote the scripts in this extension, the idea to compile them into an extension came from Lifehacker, and it has been used in its first version by hundreds of people. Now that Gmail updated, Better Gmail had to get a new version to keep up. This new version now includes several more scripts than its initial release, and they are all Greasemonkey gems. I highly recommend this extension; I use it myself all day, every day.

IE Tab

Great, but one thing Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This extension is great, and it is a valuable tool when I am developing websites, not to mention updating my computer with still only one browser window. However, there appears to be a large memory leak somewhere. With the extension installed, my Firefox took twice as long to start, and would begin to get slow after a couple of hours open. After uninstalling IETab and disabling satellite imagery in ForecastFox, it starts up as fast as IE and can run for hours on end with no trouble. I'll try re-enabling satellite imagery in ForecastFox to see if the problem returns. I'll post back here with the results.
