In like 1 word killer!; 2 words: must have! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
For the person who downloads day & night to just your average web browser: this is an absolute must have extension.
Not only does it cut downloading time substantially but it makes managing downloads much easier. From custom file names, to full web site mirroring. I can think of only a few days when I've not needed this extension.
For productive uses & also just for fun[as of FF3] this is my abs. fave extension. A must have for every web browser to web & software developer. Honestly I'd like to even see this wrapped in XULRunner & available as a stand alone download. It seriously is just this good!
All I have left to say is: *w00t!*
thank the Goddess Athena Rated 5 out of 5 stars
i'd never used bit-torrent before finding foxtorrent,
thank Athena that i have. i've always loved trying new linux distros &live cds. even more recently i've gotten into listen to &watching podcasts.
foxtorrent is wonderful for both especially because there's like truly 0 setup, it just works. i never used bit-torrent before because i hate how bloated like every other linux &gnome bt client is. but now i use a bt downloads over a normal one like anytime i can.
now i save time &have more download options, its become abs indispensable. my fave foxtorrent's features are:
- its built in management page.
- integration into firefox.
- its platform independence.
- it runs in the background.
- keeps downloading when firefox is closed.
- it can manage the same queue across all of firefox' profiles its installed on.
foxtorrent has been especially vital while i've been alpha &beta testing openSUSE 10.3.
this is one, without any doubt, one of my fave add-ons! FoxTorrent &DownThemAll! are just part of firefox. at least they should be our opinion *wink*; at the very least foxtorrent is is definitely a must have!
way chill!, but a button please? Rated 4 out of 5 stars
this is an awesome tool, wtg! &huge thnx. there's only one thing i could ask. i know i'm a ditz &space and sometimes, okay more than sometimes, i even forget its there. i live through my 'art toolbar' and a tool bar button would make this a total must have extension. it is now, with the improvements already requested. with those and i button i'd have to blog about. its this or vi's search&replace; an awesome extension all the same! a must have for any web developer! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11).
it's oddly usefully &crash free... window$ free Rated 4 out of 5 stars
it has its uses,
though i turn of the 'auto' arrows; only show them when i'm dragging links. i rarely 'need' it, only occasionally use it. but when i do its incredibly useful. thank you ;)
breaks 'enter' in url bar. Rated 2 out of 5 stars
its an awesome extension!,
and i'd used it forever, still have it bookmarked. but right now, after using it the first time it breaks pressing 'enter' on address bar. i'm hoping it will be fixed. i'll check on a bug report as soon as i actually have a free moment, but until then; i'm hoping the developer will read this. but at the least i felt that i had to warn others :'( i really hope they fix it.
