My Reviews

FennecFox

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I actuallly look for themes that don't have the extra little arrow(s). It seems intuitive to me to right click the forward or back arrows to see recent browsing history if I don't feel like reaching up and toggling the history sidebar. The extra little button(s) clutter up things, take up space, and take extra concentration to click because they're smaller and positioned so closely to the arrow forward and back buttons. I was looking for a dark theme and this one fits me perfectly. Thanks Patrick.

Revelation

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This kind of forced bundling makes me angry. It's a nice-looking theme, but not worth it in my opinion. Here, I'll give you a high review despite the fact that I will never install it.

Illimitux

use this software the smart way Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Okay, people, I just found this, and I hear what the screams are about, and yeah what a pain in the butt it sounds like, but... listen to what I'm about to say. Get this software called Sandboxie. Get Firefox Portable. Configure Sandboxie to only allow Firefox portable access to it's own folder and nothing else. And there it is! No worries about whatever crap this wants to load into your computer. Everything is confined! When through browsing, clear the sandbox. Or if you really want to scrutinize things, look inside the sandbox and see what it would have done if you hadn't been running it in the sandbox. There. That's what I do. Actually I don't use Windows any more, but that's what I did when I did.

Convert.Files

Fun for everyone... Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Convert videos on someone else's computer? That sounds like fun. This way they might have a record of every file you converted! Or maybe you're just downloading family home videos? Family videos out there for everyone to see.. That sounds like fun too!

PlainOldFavorites

Amazing, Excellent, but not portable Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Compactmenu gives you the option to toggle individual menus from the menubar, such as bookmarks. :)\r\nWhat I really want is portable plainoldfavorites. I use Portable Firefox on my primary computers, sometimes sinultaneously on both. Plainoldfavorites lets me use dsynchronize (a free file sync util) to keep my bookmarks constantly in sync, even when Firefox is open on both, something you can\'t normally do with the bookmarks.html file. BUT, if I sync my FIrefox and favorites to my usb thumbdrive to use on someone else\'s computer, it will see their favorites instead of mine. Is there a way a setting could be added to configure what folder plainoldfavorites looks for favorites in? Maybe a default option and a custom folder?

Compact Menu 2

A must-have for the space-conscious Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I don't need no stinkin' help menu! This little add-on lets me get rid of it, as well as the history menu, since I prefer the tiny history button to bring up the sidebar. Saves a lot of space. And I've never seen any bugs from this extension.

Online Music Player

Don't work. Not yet rated

I installed it. Right-clicked a known working MP3 link and told it to play. Nothing happens! Rinse, repeat with a different link, same results. Uninstalled, restarted FF, reinstalled plugin, restarted FF, same results again.
