Great theme for sure. Recently encountered an issue though:
The menu bar has suddenly taken on the aero coloring while the rest of the chrome is still the mx3 gray. I haven't changed any of my system settings since yesterday and I don't recall any major updates occurring. Any suggestions?
Nevertheless, good theme. I'm gonna keep using it.
Largely agree with the previous review. The reason I retain tab groups rather than bookmarking them is because I need all the tabs in the exact positions that I had them in before, all arranged the way I liked them. Sadly bookmarks are not sufficient to keep all that information in place, but it's very good to see that the facility to save a tab group (in its exact form, etc) is being considered. Can't wait to see where this goes!
Good smooth theme, and I like the feel for ff4. It's the closest I've found to the theme i used before (Whitehart, which was the best theme i've ever used). Just one note on a conflict with the HideTab extension - it seems that when I use it with this theme, the functionality of hidetab is completely nullified. Good theme though. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.7).
I honestly don't mind the bug that other people below have commented on and I have used this addon for a while where it has served its purpose reliably, however I have one note on a disagreement with a theme I use in ff4 (mx3), where the addon's functionality is entirely nullified. Any suggestions for this problem? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6).
The best theme I have ever seen, and I would pay for a new version if I could. Absolutely no downsides at all.
Ant is great, and I love the versatility! Awesome extension.
I'd just ask that we could turn off the video player. I have my own system for playing videos, and I'd prefer to remove it. (Anyone know of a css fix for this little preference?)
Download Statusbar has been an awesome addon for a long time; I've been using it for a while. But now that I've switched up to FF 4, I must admit that it really annoys me that there's no hide option when it sits on the status/addon whatever bar. The status sign stays there all the time, which kinda reduces the usefulness. Still a great addon though! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.8).
I usually tend to stick to one theme for a prolonged period of time and I'm definitely going to be staying on this one. Clean and polished with no glitches (that i have yet noticed). I have one little itch - I'm accustomed to themes with very small text in the tab bar and bookmarks bar (I used to use abaca) so I'd prefer some slightly smaller text up there.
And one side question: what issues tend to arise when using this theme with tab mix plus? I use that add-on so I'm curious to know what sort of conflicts, if any, to expect.
