In a little more detail...

You can contact me at GMail, my user-name is tukkek. Any feedback is appreciated, I will try to reply as soon as possible.

My favorite add-ons

My user-scripts for Greasemonkey

Rambling: this site sucks. It does OK for it's main purpose (being an add-on hub), but as there is no way to send messages or report problems we have to make our emails public... Also no way to show my favorites with my profile. Userscripts.org is a lot better, has all these features and is only a site for a specific Mozilla add-on. Don't you think the official site for all Mozilla add-ons should be even better?

Add-ons I've created

Disable CSS No Restart

Disables styles. Can be turned off via right-click menu.

Right-click close No Restart

Adds an option "close tab" to the right-click menu.

Rated 3 out of 5 stars (3)
67 users

Scroll here

Right-click on any part of a page and select 'Scroll here' to perfectly align the top of the window to the clicked-upon element.

Auto arrange tabs No Restart

When a tab is activated, moves it automatically to the right of all other tabs in the window.

This tries to mimic a heap-like behavior in the hope of diminishing tab management.

Switch to new tab on startup No Restart

If there is a 'New Tab' open, activate it on browser startup.

My Reviews

Socialite

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

There was one thing I expected this to do: give me a button to share the current page to reddit.

Auto Reload

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

After updating to Firefox 29 this is using 100% of the CPU when watching localhost for changes in a directory. Please fix this issue on Linux.

EDIT: I got it to cool off by limiting to 100 files per second but it worked well without a limit before.

keyword.URL Hack!

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Haven't had any issue with other search features yet.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.0).

FireGestures

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hold right mouse button and then move pointer left or right to go back or forward in history: exactly what I wanted. Comes configured by default but the add-on is highly customizable.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.2).

RequestPolicy

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

should be built-in on every browser

Cookie Monster

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I can't change permissions for local files so if I want to do local development I need to disable the add-on. A fix or an item menu to temporary disable Cookie Monster would make my life much easier.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0).

Auto Reload

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very handy tool, but now if you make several changes to a file the browser will reload each time. The existing delay option isn't very helpful for me.

I'd be pleased to edit this review to 5 stars if the author made tabs reload only when they became active. It is very easy to do so using this code:

var tabs=require("sdk/tabs");
tabs.on('activate', function(tab){
//reload tab here
});

[Edit after reply] I understand perfectly. But it wouldn't hurt to have an additional check-box 'delay reloading until active', right? Given the chance and time I'd be glad to send you a patch myself :)

Black Shine

Awesome gradient tabs Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is pretty cool, especially if you're using extensions to remove some of the chrome (I use LessChrome and disablemenu).

disablemenu

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does what it's supposed to and customizable.

Tiny Menu

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

In my Iceweasel it simple compacts the whole menu bar into a single item: it's neater but harder to use and still occupies the same space as the old menu-bar!

HackTheWeb

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I wanted something similar for a long time and even wrote an add-on that barely tackles it - but this is even better than my original concept :D I will rename my add-on to deprecated and tell my almost 50 users to switch to this instead!

I will change the rating to 5 stars when there is a shortcut to activate the add-on (for example: ctrl+alt+h) and when the add-on exits hack-mode after isolating an element. Both could be options, and I'd be glad to help in any way!

EDIT: Thanks for the reply Silver! There doesn't seem to be a new version out yet so I can't test the changes. Could you please consider also exiting hack-mode after isolating an element?

FoxyProxy Basic

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Quite good. Add a 'automatically use this proxy for all URLs when in private browsing mode' feature and I'll give 5 stars :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.3).

Close Tabs to the Right

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Would be perfect except in the warning it lists the total number of open tabs, not the actual number of tabs to the right of the one clicked upon.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.4).

Home Banking sem Plugins

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).

Mozilla Labs: Prospector - LessChrome HD

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Would be perfect if there was no delay between hovering the mouse over the browser tabs and showing the address bar.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (7).

Multi Links

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

As this will - God knows how - make Firefox believe every page's HTML is a single <div> (that's right, no <html>, no <body>) it has the ability to break absolutely everything. And it will: from basic right-click menu functions to every other add-on out there.

Yes it provides what it promises, but apart from that it's the worst extension I ever came across - if you can't find an alternative disable it after use! You've been warned.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.0.16).

Verificador Ortográfico para Português do Brasil

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Sem isso, quem escreveria corretamente no novo português?

Na falta da modesta doação sugerida, aqui vão 5 estrelas.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8).

United States English Spellchecker

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hooray for spell-checking every <input/> around.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.0.1).

Add-on Builder Helper (discontinued)

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Without it, I'd never have written an extension. With it, it's as simple as can be.

Now with upcoming built-in publishing/updating to AMO (this site here)! All kudos to dandonkulous (see below):

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.20).

Firebug

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

You're not a web developer if you're not on an intimate basis with Firebug.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.3).
