WOW! (but why should we need this) Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is absolutely great for the people who don't want a Tab Bar when there are no tabs (gee why does a window with no tabs need a tab bar?). I really hope the "bone heads" at Mozilla who removed this option are looking at these posts. They restricted posting on the "bug" forum which posted this bug as: "We should not allow the ability to hide the tab bar ever. In this day and age, browser have tabs, and hiding the entire bar is useless...". I develop software and this is a feature change, not a "bug". Obviously, removing the tab bar can be done as this add on demonstrates. So Mozilla decided to make Firefox less user friendly for no reason other than "browser have tabs" and hiding a tab bar when you don't have any tabs is "useless". Well on my 800x600 notebook, IT IS NOT USELESS!!!!!
If you feel the same way, report this to Mozilla. Let them know the feature is not "useless". Let them know we should not have to depend on a add on (which may not work with a future release) to get the feature!
