I see all the notifications indicating that trackers and cookies are being destroyed, but when I go through Firefox's settings to the Cookies list, I still see the cookies. For example, mail.google.com, accounts.google.com, and google.com are all present even after I close all the relevant tabs. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.1). It works great, but there are some minor inconsistencies. I find it very frustrating that there is an option to open a 'New Tab (After This Tab)', but there is no way of customizing the keyboard shortcut. The keyboard shortcut is incorrectly linked to Firefox's default 'New Tab', which opens at the END of all the tabs. Oddly enough, you can customize the keyboard shortcut for all the other Tab Context Menu options.I'd also really appreciate it if the developer could add an option to open the previous page in a new tab that is right next to the current tab. I often have to hold down cmd (for mac) and click the back arrow button, which can be inconvenient.Overall though, it works great. To the developer: Could you please implement these changes? Thank you so much. (The 3 star rating was just to catch your attention)
> In response to your reply: Thanks for the quick response, but I was already aware of that. That doesn't allow me to address the issues that I mentioned above though.
I can't thank the developer enough for helping me stay on task. I wish that a similar program was available for my computer, not just for websites -- like a parental controls without actually using parental controls. In any case, I have two minor requests:
1.) Please limit the number of attempts for "requirement for access to options"
2.) Provide a 256-character access code
It can be difficult to see the tone marks and difficult to distinguish for those who are still learning Chinese. An easy solution: Have the tone marks colored and correspond with the tone colors. Also increase the size of the tone marks just slightly so that they're more obvious.
It would be nice if users could change the colors of the definitions as well. Though this is not nearly as important the above suggestion.
-Search function doesn't work properly. When you search for a word or text, firefox highlights the word, but you can't see the text. Instead of highlighting with green, it paints over the word with green.
-Some pdf's don't search at all. I tried those same pdf's with Chrome and they worked just fine.
-It would be really nice to see a search count feature added. If not for regular browsing, at least have the feature for pdf's like how Adobe and Chrome have.
As a general note, I would really like to see Mozilla add the ability to change highlight colors. I have colorblindness to red and certain shades of pink, so using the Ctrl+A feature hurts my eyes. I wouldn't have to use that feature though if a search count feature was added.
