LastPass Password Manager

Great for both Free and Paid versions! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent add-on for password security, portability - syncing to phone, pda, tablet, computer, laptop and cross platform availability of password database.

Please note: as Lastpass.com maintains several platforms it is best to get the latest updates at:
https://lastpass.com/

I trust Lastpass especially when used with the two-factor security option.

InstantFox Quick Search

Turning Two Pages to Results Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Every time I 'select text' then do a 'right-click' search x-webiste (happens on every site and when instant is turned on or not). Both the page I had text selected on and the new tab that opens with the search engine results as does the page with selected text. This is not a desirable response.

It should leave the page with the selected text alone and only open a new tab with the search engine result.

Not turn both the page with selected text and the new tab to the search engine results.

This add-on is in-need of an update of what/where the various links connect with.

Self-Destructing Cookies

A must have add-on for security and privacy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent add-on for advanced privacy seekers! And those that read the (RT#M) instructions. Read the instructions both on the website and the "Self-Destructing Cookies - Survival Guide" included in the add-on download.
Hint: the "Self-Destructing Cookies - Survival Guide", seems to only show just after installation -- I bookmarked so I could find it again as it is stored locally.
[Developer can you make it easier to find the survival guide?]

A must have add-on for security and privacy.

Zscaler Likejaking Prevention

Wouldn't use the web without this! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I Wouldn't use the web without this add-on! Works well in the background, small memory footprint and well written to do it's job.

TrackerBlock

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Major conflict with 'Ghostery' add-on. Causes memory leak type issues. After installing 'TrackerBlock' FF DOES NOT LOAD and cycles through memory.

**********************************

PrivacyChoice.org PLEASE update this much loved and utilized program! No other solution shined and just worked like TrakerBlock. :)

Bitdefender TrafficLight for Firefox

Works well for fraud, virus detection... but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This "Bitdefender TrafficLight" v0.2.10 for Firefox is very good at detecting websites with; viruses, fraud, phishing (from the makers of the excellent Bitdefender.com whole computer anti-virus suite - also good to have!) etc...
However, after install dims-out (makes grey permanently) certain icons on the tool bar like; Flashblock, Karma Blocker and NoScript's extra-icons 'temporarily allow all this page' and 'revoke temporary permissions'.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.10).

Paste Email (original)

Best add-on for repetitive entry of basic information! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this add-on! My wife and I hope that 'Chuck_Baker' continues support for this add-on "Paste Email (original)" in future releases of Firefox.

This add-on allows simple one-click entry of text into web text-boxes!
It is stable, very light weight, has never failed me, brilliant and just simply works well for it intended purpose.

User Agent Switcher

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

User agent switcher works well and is regularly updated.
A very large of user agents can be imported that goes above and beyond the installed list.Larger List of User Agents for import:

or directly at:

Please note 'User Agent Switcher' comes installed with a good list of user agent by default. However, if you want a ton more use the link above.

Lock The Text

The only AES text encryption that works (consistently) well across multiple platfroms! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

it works very well In several web-browsers; Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Opera, and Google Chrome!
Also, has an Lock The Text Online Edition at: http://lockthetext.sourceforge.net/online.html
Use the "Lock The Text Online" page to lock or unlock your text, any time, any where.

Also, you can find a "Lock The Text Offline Edition" at http://lockthetext.sourceforge.net/
It is a single HTML file which a user can download, save and then open locally. The file at SourceForge has all the Online Edition files(HTML, CSS, Javascript) in one file and user doesn't even need the internet connection to run it.

It is a simple AES text encryption and easy to use Firefox add-on!

Lock The Text

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The only e-mail encryption the consistently works.

Calomel SSL Validation

Perfection of relaying security information concisely. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Gives another layer of security information for your connection. Uses changing color of the button based on security level alerts the user quickly. Good options for improving cipher security which would require poring through a great deal of web documentation and manual tweaks to implement otherwise. It indicates just how secure the connection is for each website with much greater detail than any other method. Perfection!
Another good resource is SSLlabs by Qualys for information and website security certificate rating.

Simply AWESOME!

Web of Trust - WOT

WOT 20120515 Not Working With Firefox 12 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Normally I would give Wot a 5.

However, the current version (20120515) is not working since it was automatically updated.

I appreciate WOT's efforts and cause just not a completely broken plugin update that does not display any pages when used in blocking mode and show lowest rating method are used.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (20120515).

Cloud Printer

Please update for Firefox version 7.0.1+ Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Would be nice if Google would extend the Firefox community the courtesy of updating the Google Cloud Printer add-on.

Currently the lack of Google's support for modern Firefox releases may be taken as a halfway extended hand to the Firefox community -- and could appear more as a marketing ploy to interest users in Chrome. This is just a guess ... based on what appears mostly to be priorities rather than genuine effort.
