My Reviews

Lightshot (screenshot tool)

Floaty Light Rated 5 out of 5 stars

With Awesome Screenshot's functionality becoming more and more clunky, it was nice to be able to just click that feather icon in the toolbar, pick an area to capture and have all options displayed to me. I could then just click 'copy' and get the cropped image on my clipboard.

Nice and easy, just how it should be. Thankyou.

Firebug

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's impossible to actually convey how useful this tool is. It adds a whole new dimension to the hands of the web developer, saving hours of production time.

Xoopit for Gmail

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If, like me, you decide that you want to archive a lot of your emails, this addon is not for you at all.

The load time on Gmail is close to a decade when this is installed.

It's a wonderful idea, just not really catered to those who have large inboxes.

Brief

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I changed to this from Sage rss reader meaning it was a step up. The latest news feature is the most attractive element of Brief and never disappoints. One thing that keeps this from a full 5 stars is that its ridiculously impossible to add any new feeds on the fly. This maybe because all my feeds are imported from sage, but still, it's really hard.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).

MinimizeToTray

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Does what it says on the tin, except that closing Thunderbird resets the settings. Very annoying!
