I am a PhD. student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Ohio State University. I am a big fan of Firefox and have been using it since its 0.92 release.
I have always been disappointed with the fat top bars that are there in Firefox. There were two extensions from Mozilla Labs, Less Chrome and OneLiner, which do not seem to be maintained any more, so this is an excellent alternative. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).
Excellent work, seems smoother than FxChrome.
Also gives the illusion of using the new Opera on Linux (:().
Very handy tool to increase the vertical space. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).
Very nice theme indeed, more so given the delay in shipping the new default theme.
I am having one issue though: bookmark icon is not visible in the awesome bar. You need to use shortcuts to use it.
This is a very useful addon for extracting screen space. I use it without any major hitches on Windows. But I face a problem while using it on Linux machines. On Linux machines, the Fx/Nightly button shifts to the right of the combined url bar. Is there a way to fix/get around this?
This is cool, makes customizing fxchrome very easy. Way to go, till FF integrates Australis.
I think I have found a bug with either FF or FxChromeMods on Ubuntu Linux. Because after installing, I cannot open the preferences dialog.
Fun addon. Adding syncing of scores would be good. And may be some sort of hints provided would be good for the more obscure ones. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
But this addon is having no effect on a Ubuntu Oneiric platform. The fonts and spacing in Ubuntu is very big. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.0).
Modifying the Install.rdf file is not working with Firefox 3.0 RC1. I have changed the maxversion to 3.0pre but it still does not solve the issue with compatibility. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.1).
very easy to use....and quite accurate....love it.......This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.3).
