My Reviews

Searchbar Autosizer

Still not working on FF5+ Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I loved this add-on with FF3, but ever since trying it on 5+ it doesn't work properly. Sometimes hitting enter won't do anything at all, the suggestions width doesn't work, won't clear the search engine, etc. I'm even trying to new version 2 beta and it's still miserable.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.7.1-signed).

Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar

Hotspot activation? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great addon...but would it be possible to add a hotspot activation option for the bookmarks bar? That way it will only pop out when the mouse is hovered over a certain spot, instead of anytime my mouse gets near it (which happens every time I get near the top of the window). The Vertical Bookmarks Toolbar addon has this option (the splitter activation) but I'd still like the bookmarks bar to be at the default top position which that one doesn't do.

Vertical Bookmarks Toolbar

Great addon, looking for one more option Rated 4 out of 5 stars

RE: developer reply

Well that would defeat the purpose, since I still want the bookmarks bar to auto-hide.

I really like this addon, particularly the auto-hide features, but I was wondering....is there any reason an option can't be added to change the position to the top (default position)? Granted it wouldn't be vertical anymore, but this addon has all the other features I'm looking for. I've tried other auto-hide addons for the bookmarks bar, but the one feature they're lacking is the hotspot activation (the splitter) to make the bar appear. If this one had the option to move the bar back to the top position, it would be perfect.

Chromifox Extreme

Ohh there is a gray one... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Whoopsie...I'm dumb, there is a gray one (Chromifox Extreme Carbon). :D

Chromifox Extreme

Color schemes Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I too would greatly appreciate a grayscale color theme (the blue just isn't my thing, a more neutral gray would be awesome).

macfox II

Nice theme Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is a nice clean theme, but as someone else mentioned, it's not very compatible with the Tab Mix Plus progress bar in the tabs, would be nice if that could be fixed.

Also, I'm using the Splash addon with transparency enabled, but with this theme it's showing a striped background instead. Could that be fixed as well? Thanks.

Edit: bug report: for sites that don't have a favicon, in the dropdown to see a list of all tabs, the icon listed for those tabs is, well, odd.

Extension Manager Extended

No options? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I tried to get to the addon options and I get a window saying "This options dialog box is only used in Firefox 1.5 and will be removed after enough time has been given for users to switch to Firefox 2." What? I believe enough people have switch to FF2, who uses 1.5 anymore?

Other than that, it does what it says.

Extended Statusbar

Dual statusbar? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I'm getting dual extended statusbars. The top floating one, and the fields in my regular statusbar. I can't figure out how to get rid of the floating one and just leave the regular statusbar one, using 1.5.2.
