My Reviews

Web Developer

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is a great extension that I've used for years. Unfortunately FF 57 has partly crippled it. I'm keeping my FF at 56 and installing an prior version of Web Developer until FF fixes its API (which it probably won't). But I really want to thank chrispederick for his great work on this and updating it for FF 57 as best as possible.
I have a dozen critical extensions and 9 of them are still "Legacy" with no suitable replacements. Unfortunately all of the three that were updated have lost functionality I need. So I'm guessing that's why the others aren't updating because there's no way to do it without breaking what they're trying to do. So looks like FF 56 Forever. Or if I'm going to have to lose all my extensions, I might as well look for a new web browser too. FF is no longer going to have real useful extensions anymore. Which is sad as I've been using FF since the days of the Mozilla browser.

Old Default Image Style

Easy Fix! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

So I was having trouble with the below fix, as firefox would disable it as unverified once I changed it.

So I tried playing around with some settings and looking at the Help for the settings, and it actually says how you can inject random code into the style sheet, which is what the fix does. Here's what to do.

Go into Add-Ons in Firefox and choose Options for Old Default Image Style.

Go down to Custom Error Text Color and enter this value:

;} img.overflowingVertical { margin-top: 0; }

from the starting ; to the closing }.

And that's it! No need to edit any files!

Very nice, handy, convenient! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Loved it in Netscape/Mozilla, and still loving it now. Especially with "properties" no longer being an option and having to do "view image info" and bring up the bulky Page Info dialog. Thanks for keepin' it updated!

Annoyance Remover

Still Needed Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I still wish this would be updated for FF4. I've tried all the Greasemonkey autocomlete-on scripts and none of them work consistently for the PNC bank login. They will make it fill in my user name on the first page, but rarely fills in my password on the next, which is what I need. Annoyance Remover's "save passwords for all sites" feature always worked all the time for me.

Agreed. I *normally* do not want FF to restore my session. The reason I need a restart command is for those times I do want it to close and restart, restoring my session as it was. If I just wanted it to use the FF feature, I don't need a reset command. I'd just use File -> Edit and fire up FF again and that would do it. I need the restart command/button to close and restore my current session. I do this particularly when FF starts to eat up too much memory and slowing down my computer, and I want to keep all the stuff I'm working on open.

I love it for the "save passwords for all sites" feature too! I won't upgrade to FF 3.5 without it!

Fantastic! I don't need the other features, but I hate sites that block my password auto-complete. This is worth 5 stars for that feature alone. Thank you so much!
