Tried on a few sites that were not asking to save login info and this did not work.
As I wrote in the title, after I updated to v.2.2.2 the Add-ons toolbar no longer works in FFv28, at least for me. I went thru all my extensions and found this to be the cause. Otherwise, I love this theme and will stay with v2.2.0.
Addendum: Thanks to the author for the reply, but I don't want to add yet another extension to simply make this theme work. I'll keep using 2.2.0 since it works with FF28.
This is a must-have. Get it, add it, use it, love it.
Love this ext. Wish it would auto-enable itself upon FF start but otherwise no qualms with it. Get it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206.1-signed). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
v4.9.21a1 not working with Vevo files again, but non-Vevo d/l just fine. I refreshed page, reinstalled 4.9.21a1 but to no avail. OK, wierd... I cleared cache again, refreshed page again and now I can d/l Vevo files. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed).
Great extension. Only thing is I wish it would auto-enable itself or check to ensure its enabled when FF starts. For some reason it's disabled/off when my FF starts even if I had it enabled b4 closing FF.
PS, I don't have the middle-click issue and I'm using Tabmix+ too. Interesting...
I love this extension. There is only one thing I'd like to change. I wish the new messages alert window/popup on the desktop could be bigger or its size configurable. Is there a way to do this or can it be done in the next version? Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.16.3). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Great extension. Works with FF16.0.1 but the icon might disappear from the add-on bar so do as the author replied to me.
Leszek, dziękuję za odpowiedzi!
Indeed this extension now prevents FF 14 from asking where to save new bookmarks. Please fix this. I've been using the extension since it's release and need it. :)
I'm using version 0.16.1 with Tbird v3.1.15 with no problems. IIRC when I updated Tbird MA no longer worked. So for now I'm sticking with these versions. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.16.1).
OK. Got it working in Ubuntu 10.10 w/FF 6.0.1. Enter "/usr/bin/dbus-send" (no quotes) for the executable. Then enter "--print-reply --dest=org.gnome.SessionManager /org/gnome/SessionManager org.gnome.SessionManager.RequestShutdown" (no quotes) for the Arguments. This will allow a shutdown without prompting for a password. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1-signed). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Still cannot get it to work in Ubuntu. After entering this command in terminal: "sudo chmod u+s /sbin/shutdown" which should disable password prompting for the sudo shutdown command Ubuntu still won't shutdown. Any thoughts? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1-signed). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Can't get it to shutdown Ubuntu 10.10 w/FF 6.0.1. To use the sudo shutdown command the user's password is required. Anyone get this to work please post here what you did. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1-signed).
It worked for me before TBird 6.0 and I really liked it. I just upgraded to TB 6.0 on Ubuntu and no matter what I tried I cannot get the new mail icon to appear in the Notification Area. I'd rather not install packages just to get this one extension to work so hopefully the author can easily fix this. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.1).
I tried all the various versions on the author's site but none work with FF v3.6.17.
Here's my latest reworking of Jaap's great extension that works with FF 3.6. You can d/l it here: http://www.divshare.com/download/10241649-6f2This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.6.1).
My modified version supports up to 8 user-definable searches. You can d/l it here: http://www.divshare.com/download/8012096-173
I hope you don't mind, Jaap.
I used this extension last year and for some reason stopped using it. Well I'm using it again and liking it a lot. IIRC it seems faster than when I used it last. No problems yet. I will recommend this to my friends. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.20090525).
I already loved this somewhat simple search extension, but a big THANK YOU! goes to Tjaarddddd for adding more search entries. I emailed the author about this many months ago and never heard from him. This is now simply THE BEST search extension for FF.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.0).
The only problem I have with this extension is you cannot change font size of the IE tab's contents. Or, did I miss that and it's there somewhere? Other than that this is a great addition to your FF experience. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.20080823).
