Second review, yet their constant need to include childish graphic, and now Medals. . . come on stick to business and just give us stats. For crying out loud, awarding medals to users for sites blocked. . . just plain stupid.
You have a good product, why continue with this kindergarten garbage.
Well done and very comparative with Ghostery.
(suggest reading both, site and add-on PP)
Does not block as many as Ghostery, yet well on its way.
(note this add-on blocked more from the conception then Ghostery did.)
abine.com has an undisclosed WHOIS, not trustworthy for a company that also sells software. . . well in fact it is against FTC (Federal Trade Commission) law.
I personally would never be a consumer of one that does not disclose their WHOIS.
Your interface is just. . . well UGLY!
Drop the Happy Sun and congratulation, just give the facts and stats in a professional manner and leave kiddie graphics to those in kindergarten.
I prefer DNT+ and unloaded Ghostery.
I will not every financially support abine.com till they disclose their WHOIS.
Overall. . . Well Done.
Great! anything to help keep Wal-Mart from destroying more businesses. Willfully pay more at Target to help keep them around and competition healthy.
The only thing I don't like about Target is NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya. Gee what a jerk. ~smiles~
Very well done.
Took it to a trashed out test profile, didn't miss a single issue.
Has some dark theme issues in readability.
Very fast indeed. Works well.
Been awhile since I seen a truly original and useful add on for TB.
With 20 accounts in the network to monitor, this is real time saver to get an overview.
website.informer.com is currently blacklisted at PhishTank.
The Phishing page is:
Not sure why it was just now bumped to FF4, it works fine in FF5 if you bump max version. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.20110611).
Just curious Brand Thunder, notice you use many logos including this one that clearly states on their sites. "May not use without explicit written consent."
Have you acquired written consent from the copyrighted logos you use, or are you breaking the law.
I like g7w was disappointed.
There is and expected conflicts with Ghostery and Request Policy.
Tried on a clean profile and found this add on made FF unresponsive at times.
I also have to agree that sources such as Norton is not best way to go.
URL void is a good source, I would also recommend incorporating WoT.
This add on is just not ready for prime time.
Just absolutely superb.
If I was going to change one thing it would be. . . hmm. . .
Guess I wouldn't.
Finely one to replace all those that went to cr^&.
Clean, no ads, intrusive toolbars, nor does it crash on pages with flash like some.
Well done in my opinion.
To Rose1 and Husar,
"Menu Editor" to get rid of listing in context menu
"Organize Status Bar"
To hide the status bar (now known as add-on bar) icon, use.
(note: at the time of this review OSB is not updated except on the author's homepage)
New version 5.03 works great!
Thanks for keeping up with the add on.
"Of course you can press ctrl+f5 but sometimes clicking can be convenient."
Because many are keyboard ignorant and simply unaware of that function.
I like the simplicity it adds.
Nice add on
Well I see why you're upset, but you can't blame WoT.
I assume this is your site: http://www.data0.net/
First lets state that you only had one bad comment by a WoT member.
Second: You are listed as a spam site on http://barracudacentral.org/rbl
Third: You are listed as a threat on Nortons Safe Search
Fourth: You are listed as a threat on McAfee
Now my own analysis so far says these are incorrect and false positives.
So keep in mind that not just WoT, but several came up with that conclusion.
The WoT member that rated most likely went off a blacklist report.
Let me explain something about WoT.
There are about 12 million users, yet if you find a site rated incorrectly or wanting a review go to the forum. There you will find that such is performed by a small handful of us, and most are very through, knowledgeable, and more then willing to help you correct issues.
You do need to get off those blacklist, and go to WoT and ask for a review when you have correct those issues.
In the meantime I will finish my analysis and rate accordingly. At this moment looks like you will be getting a good rating, yet again remove yourself from those other blacklist ok.
Now see how easy that is. . .
User: "Stealth Mode" at WoT forums.
Hope to see your request and gain your respect.
WoT is a wonderful tool, and the raters are very responsible I assure you.
The biggest problem is that users don't take the time to understand the program. or bother to change the settings to fit their needs.
webmazter is just mad because I questioned why he mainly hosted scam, spam, and porn sites and proudly displays such on his website http://www.shellxnet.com
Keep in mind I am no racist by any means, yet I find that this kind of search engine sets back the progress of ending racism.
Tell me in all honesty dear, if one was to make an all white search engine how many lawsuits, and people up in arms would be screaming discrimination. When will this madness truly stop. When will African Americans realize they are feeding the problem more then solving.
Works well and nicely done, and rated accordingly.
Very simple terms could not be defined.
e.g. embryonic cells, Alzheimer’s, neuronal, and cardiomyoplasty.
But a good start.
Works... but just silly.
Well I have no use, but rating on function and the possibility someone might.
