My Reviews

DictionarySearch (Official Version)

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Doesn't set parent tab and thus opens at the end of the tab bar. Other than that, a very professional extension.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (10.0.0.1-signed).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

TheFreeDictionary.com Lookup

Decent but doesn't set parent tab Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It should set the parent tab and thus open next to the current tab. Other than that, good little extension.

ImageSearch

Doesn't Work Any More Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It did, but no longer. I'm using Firefox v20 (Nightly)

Full Screen mobile

Menu Button should show Navigation Bar Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Both the menu button and scrolling to the top of the page should show the navigation bar, get those sorted and this is five stars.

Zoho Companion For Firefox(Formerly Zoho QuickRead)

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Incompatible with Firefox 15 (Nightlies) which is a shame.

Send Tab to Device

Good but there's a but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I really like this but it should have the option in the contextual menu of the tab rather than just on the document. Also I'd really like to see a mobile version.

DictionarySearch (Official Version)

Disappointingly frustrating Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I've been a long term user and lover of this extension, but at this point, it's failure to open searches contextually (next to the current tab) is nothing short of annoyance not to mention ignorance! Hopefully it's fixed in a future version instead of simply version bumping.

Always Right

Does what it says on the tin Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great add-on and it does exactly what it promises, however sadly the only taps I'd like to open next to the current tab are new tabs not invoked by clicking the new tab button or from external links. So basically only when I click control+t or file+'new tab'.

BugzillaJS - Tweaks for Bugzilla

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Love this addon. I'd appreciate an options dialog though, so I can turn on/off some features. Also is there any chance we can add a context menu item to bugzilla pages so we can copy a link to the bug as per the bookmarklet that only works with edit permissions[1].

F1 by Mozilla Labs

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Seems cool enough but asks for way too much access from my facebook, it should only require to post to wall and my basic information. Also the button in the url bar seems silly. I'd rather a proper customisable button I can place on my addons bar and also an improvement on 'send link...'

Mozilla Labs App Runtime

Hope for the future Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Well this is very much pre-release and as such has a long way to go. It most certainly doesn't need a button on the navigation bar and instead should simply add a pane to the AOM. Also when uninstalling apps it should close the tab. But ultimately it was a simple and effective demonstration of the power of Open Web Apps. Hopefully we'll see a huge adoption rate as other browsers seem to feature more Web App support at the moment and it's akin to IE6. Back to this though, despite being tweaked towards mac, it is a great experience. Definitely worth a goal. The extension is fine and only let down by a lack of real world apps.

BarTab

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great little add on, though I should be able to mark tabs that I don't want to be put on my bartab even if i don't visit them in the allotted time.

about:me

I've set this as my home page/tab and to be honest, it's really slowing me down.

Mozilla Labs - Prism

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I couldn't force this to open in a firefox window as a tab. It wouldn't close when I clicked the red X and I also couldn't modify the options I chose for it when I created the tab.

Plus there was the annoying fact that it simply ignored all of my extensions. It should respect my choices like Ad Block Plus and Auto-Hide Statusbar. I sincerely hope it'll also respect Jetpacks by the time it comes out of Beta.

Ubiquity

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Late to the party on this one and what a shame. It would appear that development has stopped, it's a shame as this would've definitely been folded into Firefox sooner or later.

Strata40

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great theme. Absolutely love. Really comes into it's own once you add a few extensions to help it alone. My only real issue is that the status bar is not also made class. I'd also like to see a Windows 7 style App Button, rather than the Chrome style Tools Button.

App Tabs

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Initially I was ecstatic about this, however as time has gone on, one thing has increasingly bothered me. The tabs aren't pinned. Which begs the question, what's the point. They're now just textless tabs, when instead, I want a global tabs that's never lost. I know it's possible as the Strata Home Tab extension does it, so why is there not at least an option to do it in this?

autoHideStatusbar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Fantastic extension, it should be a stock feature. Thank you.

Speed Dial

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I love the idea, but it should use the 'Move Visited' sites that are already built into Firefox. Can't wait until this feature is added as I'll definitely re-install it then.

Speed Dial

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Love the idea but feel it should use the most visited sites that are automatically generated by firefox.
