I am using TB 10.0.2 and Windows XP Pro SP3 with T-BTT 6.0. This a great piece of software that tweaks visibility properties of the various bars and filters, and adds a host of useful options. It significantly improves the Thunderbird experience, providing the cleanest interface for any given purpose, and that interface can be changed easily and quickly as necessary. Software this well thought out is a thing of beauty. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6.0).
Pace coolly, but sometimes simpler is better. This does one job and does it well, without unnecessary flab. It provides a button on the toolbar which requires only a left click to undo the last closed page.Tab Utilities isn't required for this function; it is inbuilt. Right click a tab, and the 11th of the current 12 entries on my context menu does the same thing. But this is by far the tab context menu item that I use the most. So this utility is a boon, without adding functions I don't need. Undo Closed Tabs also provides the quickest access to the last 10 tabs by default - this can be changed to any number up to 99.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.7.1).
Removing the navigation bar seems too high a price for the minor change Tiny Menu makes. Surely that will affect other add-ons?
The Welcome to Firefox window frame in the screen shot is already replaced by the orange Firefox 5 button in the Tabs bar at the top, which itself contains many Menu entries, as well as add-on features, such as a Restart command from the Add-on Restart Firefox (the beta is perfectly OK), or that and more from the Add-on Personal Menu (which I am about to try).
Without Tiny Menu Firefox 5's default behaviour is that pressing ALT makes the menu headings appear neatly next to the orange Firefox button. Press Alt again and the menu headings disappear.
I don't see what Tiny Menu adds to that.
PLEASE can we have a version for Firefox 4 !!!!!!!
This is the best currency converter by far for pop-up conversion of a single value, generally all you want.
It perfectly complements ConvertMyCurrency, which automatically converts all recognized currency values on a page. However CMC fails to recognise that $ doesn't always mean greenbacks (eg I am writing from Australia, and often looking at New Zealand ar Canadian sites), or numbers without currency symbols! Forex does not have this problem due to its manual selection of currency conversion, which can be applied to any number on a page, regardless of whether a currency symbol is attached or not.
