Now I can't save images! Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I've had this plug-in for many years. It really should be part of Firefox.
But there is a new problem that has appeared in the last couple weeks -- I can't right-click and save an image. The rgt-clk menu goes away, but no image is downloaded. If I disable MAF, downloading an image works fine.
What happened? Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It used to be so good. Then it just disappeared from my browser. Now it's back in the add-on list but they say it has ads now .... :( booooo. I gave it a 5 before, but now .... hmmm,This review is for a previous version of the add-on (9.1.0).
All Local? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is one of my favorite add-ons, but does it send my pages to your server? Or is it all done locally on my machine?
If it's all local, why does it take so long? It usually says it's going to take a few minutes, and usually takes a couple of minutes, but why?! The pages are already loaded, why doesn't it take 2 seconds instead of 2 minutes?
Is it sending my pages to your server?
Love it, Great Plug-in, Better than PDFs and Screenshots Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Dude, this is great. After junking up my directories with the HTML and the separate folders all over the place, then screwing around going to Chrome just to save as PDF, and dealing with screenshots, I found this plug-in. So excellent !! MAF is better than PDF in several ways -- more accurate rendering, viewing directly in browser like the original, can save and re-save as other formats, and don't have to load up the bloated and creaking Adobe Reader.
I love that it gives me just one self-contained file. You should get set up under the Freemium plan.
There is no 3rd party involvement, right?
It's all done on my computer, right?
Nothing gets sent to any servers or mother-ships, right?
Please say so in the description.
Sorry, but was burned by one of those douchey save-as-pdf plug-ins.
This plug-in is so valuable I came back to see if there was a donate button. Thank you. Set up a Freemium plan and I'll upgrade ... as long as my data is not going anywhere.
Scammy Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Along with the security hole of sending you output through a 3-rd party website, this is mostly an ad for their online service. Boooo!
Firefox and their jacka55 updates Rated 5 out of 5 stars
TMP was great, I used it for many years (7?) and donated a couple times. But Firefox insists on issuing major updates every 20 minutes so they can hide the menus, move the tab bar wherever their 18-year-old 'expert' decide you need it moved to, add some cutesy crap, or otherwise annoy people.
The bottom line is, just remember the next Firefox update, next week, may obsolete whatever extension you are installing. There's no point in getting used to an extension because next week, boom, "your extension is not compatible with Firefox v197.1, but you'll love the new rounded edges of the hover-over popups, and the new colors on the facebook login."
I really wouldn't blame Gary if he gives up on supporting his extension because of the merry-go-round of updates. Like it's been said for years, Firefox really should put the functionality of this awesome extension in the core code base. It's amazing they haven't.
I wonder if Opera has gotten better at displaying pages in the last few year. I think it's time to move all my bookmarks back over and make it the primary browser again.
Please catch up with Firefox's idiotic update frenzy Rated 5 out of 5 stars
January? No, not January! Please fix this to work with Firefox 17. Please. (I've donated). I can't wait until January. Firefox, I hate you for the rapid-fire updating! I've given up on all add-ons except Tab Mix Plus because your monthly updates keep breaking the add-ons. But now TMP too?! Damn you Firefox. Damn you. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.3.1-signed).
