More appearance options in Firefox?
Custom mix-and-match theme elements?
Colorization of the tabs and toolbar?
Ability to change the App Menu button text and color?
One-click button/tab/icon style without needing a restart?
YES PLEASE, I WOULD LIKE MORE AWESOME.
This has so much potential (and dynamic) for customization, it's like a Swiss Army knife for Firefox. It's an über-theme.
I think this add-on is kind of neat.
Awesome add-on. Keep working at it, there's still more to tweak! :D
I will comment more often on Spewboy's deviation page at deviantART.
Very simple, useful add-on that does exactly what it says on the box.
Comes equipped with a few useful toolbar buttons. Can be set to auto-hide (or even "pinned" open with the toolbar button), or always visible. If you prefer to keep the add-on bar (formerly known as "Status Bar") disabled, you can move all your toolbar buttons to the Vertical Toolbar and save some space at the bottom of your browser.
Puffin617 and mostwanted: Persona backgrounds are set to "tile" on the toolbar, which is a bit better than having the Persona image end abruptly, isn't it?
[To Gomita, the developer] In future versions, please consider:
- A new option: Button borders ONLY on hover (or at least a hover glow on the icons)
- Hide certain buttons when they're disabled [like the Feeds icon]
- Vertical toolbar needs a border on inside edge (e.g., the right edge when the toolbar's on the left side)
- Web console button should be indented [checked] when the console is open.
- If it's not possible to put the Bookmarks on the Vertical Toolbar, please think about making a separate extension for that.
Obviously, the only negative things I can say about this extension are simple style issues (which are easily fixed) — great job on the add-on! I will continue to use Vertical Toolbar in the future.
It does what it says it does, and it's easy to style (with Stylish and/or theme settings). One of my favorite add-ons.
This is a brilliant idea. I would like a bit more conditional arrangements, like having the throbber show instead of the urlbar favicon when the page is loading.
All in all, this extension has the potential to completely replace any of the Stop/Reload addons or userstyles that have already been made.
