Rain Alarm Extension

the location marker is ok :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

"Thanks for your message. One question, if you open the Rain Alarm configuration window manually (right click on the icon), does it show a location marker on the map or not?" Yes, a little red balloon with a black point inside appears in the map, marking the selected position with some accuracy.

Rain Alarm Extension

something's wrong with FF 14.0.1 :/ Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After updating to Firefox 14.0.1, the rainalarm 1.2.2 configuration window appears itself in the screen. This event only is seen when Firefox 14.0.1 is starting and LAN connection is not found or when WIFI signal is lost. Thanks :)

This addon is very useful. Low size icon needed.

Flagfox

Icon Man :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Do you know Status-4-ever addon? Probably not. I have an idea: please, may you put the icon in the center of the screen, with a size of 1024x600? Have a nice day, and thanks for the update :)

Rain Alarm Extension

I have an idea to improve the extension :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hello again, Mr. Diener :) I think that this extension could be improved with a log with at least the last ten notifications or any number according to the user's requirements. I thought that it could be a good idea a ballon when the mouse is over the icon of the extension, with colour marks according to the proximity of the rain notification. The colours may be assigned for the distances less than 1/2, 1/3 and 1/4 of the user's radius or something similar, and also the rain/snow symbol when it rains or it snows. Thank you again for this extension, Mr. Diener. Congratulations from Spain :)

Download Statusbar

Slow down the speed in some cases :( Rated 1 out of 5 stars

After testing this addon in some computers, I have noticed that when some downloads are made at the same time, at least one of two of them are lost with 0 kbs/s over one minute or more. In high speed connections at least one download is lost, and in slow connections the number is higher. Not a good choice for me :/

Screengrab (fix version)

An incredible addon :D Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you for your valuable work done with Screengrab. I didn't know about your project because I thought that Screengrab was EOL. Would be possible to add the http link of the webpage to the end of the file's name automatically? :)

HTTPS Finder

A must have addon :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

"The "Try S first, then fall back if necessary" is an interesting idea that I hadn't thought about. I'll try to experiment with that when I get some more time to work on it. Thanks!"

Thank you for your answer. I like very much this addon and in order to help you, I tested 26 SSL pages using the method of adding manually the "S" to the "http" and all of them started to load in less than two seconds. This little delay should be enough to get some response from the page or let the addon to fall back to "http". In fact, if no response is received below two seconds, then your addon would start the GET/HEAD method automatically. An extra option in the advance preferences may let the users to choose if they want to wait these two seconds (or more if needed) in order to get some benefits from this idea. Thank you again and good luck.

HTTPtoHTTPS

I don't understand this addon :( Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Sorry, but I don't understand how this addon works. I don't know if it's working or not. I expected that this addon will add automatically the "S" to the "http" but it won't. In fact, I must have to do it by myself, and then an error warnig appears in the screen when the SSL connection isn't done. I also expected that this addod will detect the Firefox warning when the SSL connection is refused and then get back from "https" to "htpp" automatically, but it won't again. None is automatically here. :(

HTTPS Finder

Useful addon, little problem :/ Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This addon rules and it's getting better in each version. The only problem I've found is that the non-SSL page is loaded before than the SSL one. For example, I wrote http://www.google.com and it got fully loaded and then, in less than two seconds, the htppS://www.google.com started to load. If an automatic search of SSL code is done, why the non-SSL page is entirely loaded before? Probably a better method to detect a SSL page would be to add the "S" to the "http" automatically, and if an error page was encountered then automatically reverse from "https" to "http". I use both methods to avoid the problem I mentioned before and it's nearly perfect for me. Thank you.

Undo Closed Tabs Button

Good and useful extension :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It works nice. This extension has given me an idea to clear also the cache of the recently closed tabs, taking advantage of the fact that if you set the about:config browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo to zero, the cache is deleted at the moment, and then you could inmediately set it to the default (10) or the number you have choosen before. However, if the values set in browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo were five, four, three, two or one, all closed tabs are deleted but the last five, four, three, two or the last one. So we would have either the option to clear all cache, to clear all but the last X closed tabs, or to undo all or the last. I hope this idea will be useful to enhance your extension in some way. Thanks.

Screengrab

It works for me in FF 8.0.1 :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It works perfectly for me with no bugs after editing the intall.rdf contained in the *.xpi extension file. First I changed the *.xpi to *.rar and then open the install.rdf file, and I changed the maxmem vervion of FF to 10.0 and it works also with FF 9.0 beta 6 (tested today by me). Images are saved in both .jpg and .png, full or partial image and everything's fine.
