useful and nicely done, lots of flexibility for the new tab page.would like to see a 'double row' option for the toolbars so that they could display more icons before it puts the extras in a dropdown menu... or maybe a setting where you could specify how many rows you want a toolbar to be (max, if needed), as well as a 'autosize' option where it would be as many rows as it needs to display all the bookmarks specified. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5a5.4.3).
so glad it works with FF5 now. back to being the useful add-on it always has been. LOVE IT!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.33). This user has 3 previous reviews of this add-on.
BROKEN IN FIREFOX 5 :(
why is it that every new firefox breaks all the bookmark toolbar button menu add-ons? there's like 5 different ones and all are broken in ff5. so aggravating!
i really like not having to use screen space on the bookmarks toolbar, but still having them quick access. the search feature also works well and is useful. only problem is the icons for the bookmarks are missing.they are all there in the regular bookmarks menu, but in this add-on i have to visit the site from the button menu and then it will add the icon to that site in the menu. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.32). @AceBain - yea, but if you actually used this add-on you might see it has more to it, but go ahead and rip on it, lol.
love how i can just move my mouse to the top and have the menubar pop out. i keep a lot of the buttons up there so my main window is uncluttered and small footprint, but it's nice to have such quick and easy access without pressing a single key.
so glad i found this, works great
works great in ff 3.6, allows me to hide my bookmarks toolbar but still have quick access to my most used bookmarks. i would love it even more if it had a auto-open menu option, so that the menu would open just by moving the mouse over he button.
thanks for this very helpful add-on
wonderful add-on, so many useful buttons.
excellent add-on, works perfect in 3.6.
hope it's features become standard in FF.
was pleased at first with my window maximized, set up the window and it looked and worked sharp. then i used the 'restore' button and things went bad. couldn't move the window at all, clicking in any of the areas that the author mentions, and when i re-maximized the window, it was not maximized to fill the screen. had to disable it to get my ff window to act correctly again. loved the idea of this add-on, and if you leave your window alone in the maximized state, it works great for getting rid of that waste of space title bar :/This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.6.5).
avg toolbar seems to break this add-on from working, so i disabled avg toolbar and now it works again. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.2).
excellent and yes, it should be on the tab options page in Firefox. just amazing to me how a standard option like this is overlooked by the FF team. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.2).
very useful, should be standard in FF.
improvements (imo) would be:
- option to drop root folder from 'path', so that
is shown as '/Develop/Database'
- adding the path listing to the bookmark properties pane (so it could be copied/viewed in full)
works perfectly and definitely should be standard in FFThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).
