It doesn't remember its previous position. Though it does remember its previous size.
All I really wish is for it to open centered over the firefox tab. I close tabhunter, move the firefox window and *poof*: ideally when re-opened tabhunter would still be centered over the tab.
Modal is bad. Side/Bottom-bar is bad. I think the new JS canvas drawing API (jetpack/addon-sdk) is perfect because you can position the window relatively, and it will never become hidden behind firefox. Ideally it would just disappear when focus is lost.
There should be different shortcuts for url/title and text search.
Text search should center the match on the terms (re the addon 'Hugo'). Furthermore, enter should activate the search box, or find-as-you-type should be incorporated. Search should target either the HTML/XML or plain text (text nodes). Lastly, search should optionally use matched urls/titles.
Sorry, its a really great addon, but I've been using it so often that I chafe under these constraints. Recently I found Hugo which overlaps much of Tabhunter's functionality, yet with its own shortcomings so that I can't really switch.
It would be great if you could get the Page Info sidebar content to wrap.
Currently the content is clearly truncated; even at maximum sidebar width information such as encryption information, address remain obfuscated while packing boxes remain truncated.
Also history remains shown in a pop-out window, from ctrl-shift-y or download-icon->show-all-downloads.

While the source/target specification is an innovation over RefControl, making this addon especially useful for search engines, in other regards it regresses the functionality found in RefControl. The option "Ignore same domains request" is a blanket default that cannot be overridden on a per-site basis. Therefore the following functionality provided by RefControl is not possible:
* Default to removing the referrer only for 3rd party requests, yet completely remove this header (even when same domain) for specific sites.
* default to completely removing the referrer (3rd party & same domain), yet allow this header (same-domain) for specific sites.
In any case the approach used by RefControl - to treat the fallback/default rule as any other rule, with all the same options and control - is much more intuitive than Referrer Control's UI.
I've been using this addon for many years and the plain-text configuration is simpler by far than that of any dialog-driven proxy addons. However I now need glob-based url matching and am at a crossroads.
Alk-K keyboard combination doesn't work
(Couldn't figure out anywhere to put this, besides email)
Wow, groups + BarTab would be amazing: load/unload groups. Would be a better workflow than using the Session-Manager
(Haven't actually tried it though)
