PriceBlink - Price Comp & Coupons

Could Be Great Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It is excellent on showing vouchers everywhere, even on sites not meant to, as UK and US, like Aliexpress, but that is all it shows for me. No price comparison, no reviews, even on e-Bay or Amazon. It only does one of its three main functions, so if I give it two stars I am already giving more than one third for each function. With so many people saying it works, it must have a bug and it is useless for me.

PriceBlink - Price Comp & Coupons

Not very useful Rated 2 out of 5 stars

What is the use of this add-on if it only compares prices to shops in UK or US when we want to be able to buy from any country in the world?

Compare Hatke

Not working in Firefox Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Definitely for dumbs using that browser for dumb people, Google Chrome.

Why are these people cheating on us by putting here something that does not work?
THE FIVE-STAR REVIEWS COULD ONLY HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BY THEIR OWN STAFF.

Definitely, not recommended.

Price Rocket

Duesn't work Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Very simple to say. It just doesn't work, not even on known sites like e-bay.

Pure rubbish.

Price Expert

Very deceived Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I had this add-on for about one year before. It worked perfectly as expected, but suddenly it stopped opening to show prices on pages with plenty of prices. I didn't care much because I was planning to reinstall the OS, so also Firefox.

Now, I installed it a week ago on this fresh installation of Windows and Firefox, but for my astonishment it ONLY opens on Google searches, and when the search results do not show any price. Not on pages with plenty of prices, like e-Bay.

Obviously, I am going to remove it fro, Firefox and try something else.

anonymoX

Very annoying with stupid large pop-ups Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It has become useless and extremely annoying. Every now and then ot soots this notive:

"Sorry! anonymoX is overloaded
As you may already know, we are providing an anonymization network. It consists of many computers we need to maintain to anonymize your internet traffic. Because of the many users, there are times when it gets overloaded.
While our network is under heavy load, only users of anonymoX Premium have guaranteed access."

This is very stupid I only seldom use it, and so it has always come up when I am NOT using it. What do I care whether it is overloaded or not? I will disable it for now, and will try to reenabled again in the future. If id goes on the same I will uninstall it immediately. Why should I want something that is constantly bothering me?

The replies given by the founders are not even believable. It is a lie for a trap.

Adblock Plus

Always the best Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm have been using the desktop version for ages also for mail. If hate ads. Their only use for me is to know what is must avoid.

QuickWiki

Seopped working Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It worked very well, but stopped with Firefox 29 and still the same with version 30. When the Wikipedia or Wiktionary window should open only a small window shows a message "Looking up xxxxxxx on Wikipedia". I removed and reinstalled, but no way.

The developer does not offer any contact, but only a way to donate... strange. Not possible to give this add-on a 5 star, as it might deserve, because this seems to be permanent.

Proxy List

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It used to be a quite very good add-on, but that changed. The proxies are now not only not working but also full of too much pub. Ad Blocker, BlockSite and others do hide the ads, but they are often so many that they clock Firefox and it disappears and I have to close it with Task Manager to be able to restart it. Some proxy sites are very dangerous because if you are not careful they will install you unwanted programs, spies and trojan horses. This is not the fault of the add-on or the developer's, but it is no longer recommendable. Avoid it! Run away from it. Pity.

glowywine

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This and the other Glowies has been my preferred for years. Is is a pity I had to give them up because the developer does not update them. He doesn't have to if he does not wish, but someone else could keep his past good work alive.

What is this? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

What is this?
This is not a review, but a question because the expected add-on description is empty, and there is no image.

Google Translator for Firefox

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Most practical of all, no doubt, but some languages translate into dialects and not standard. And then there is Google spying, as previously noticed. Why not replace Google translator with a neutral one?

It Works Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It does exactly what the description claims, and it does it well. It saves a lot of time and nerves. Thank you.

Proxy List

Nothing shows up on Firefox 17 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I installed this very useful add-on. Nothing appeared. Restarted Firefox twice and always nothing. It is there on the add-ons list; checked the Options and seem to be OK. Disabled, re-enabled, uninstalled, re-installed, and always nothing, always checking everywhere. It is there, but it is just as if it has not been installed. The obvious question is: -Is it supposed to work with FF 17? FF is changing versions too fast in my opinion, and probably the developers get trapped with such speed. To keep that speed, Firefox should be able to give users some information in cases like this, if this the case. Is this right or is there a bug?

Edit: Answer to NWK.

1. Never used or installed your add-on.
2. It did not install the icon.
3. Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. I have been using Firefox since its beginning and before that I used the Mozilla browser.

BlockSite

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

BlackList and WhiteList both use the same list of sites, Therefore, we can't use this add-on for allowing a not blocked site without giving the notice "This website, or elements thereof, are on the Blocksite blacklist (or not on the whitelist) and have not been loaded." It seem to be impossible to use both lists simultaneously. So, it is very effective if you need to block sites, but the withleist is not usable.
