Send to My Phone (QR Code Generator)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is the only one I found (after testing a bunch of the more popular QR addons) that works correctly for me. I keep 3 windows open, and the other addons would code the URL of a tab from a different window. This one shows the right URL, from the current window.

Local Filesystem Links

Works well, and I have a FR Rated 5 out of 5 stars

First of all, five stars for the job well done. I don't get the "add what I want, I'll give it another star" mentality.

Would it be possible to add an exclusions list, say if I don't want local links displayed/enabled on certain web pages. Actually, I use Tiddly Wiki like the previous reviewer as well. Don't know about the older version, but in TW5 every wiki link gets the folder icon added, which is unnecessary and doesn't actually work (clicking on a folder gives error "Sorry. The following path could not be found: ...").

HackTheWeb

Aardvark wins Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Nothing new compared to Aardvark.
Aardvark - not sure about the add-on, but the bookmarklet still works for me in Fx 8.0, and works better than HTW (I do have a test case proving that).

Works in Fx4 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The icon is there in addon bar. Selecting action only with mouse buttons is more intuitive than having to use Control key as in other addon mentioned in comments. Support page is excellent, very helpful, thank you. Overall, this one really stands out and beats other similar addons hands down.

Proved this to myself many times: Don't go by reviews, go by number of weekly downloads. Nutcases are always there. Normal people mostly just download and enjoy.

Works in my Fx4. Icon is there, in add-ons bar. I like "right-click, then left-click" better than "right-click, then hold Control as you are releasing the mouse". The ability to copy with titles is awesome. Overall, beats the other extension mentioned in the comments, hands down.

What customer service are you talking about? How much did you pay for this? It's your attitude that sucks.

+1 to add Included/Excluded Pages ASAP. Thanks! The new "Manage User Scripts" interface is great.

Tabs Open Relative (Modified)

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Maybe there was an "added value" to this add-on before, but now it is just a repackaged copy of workaround add-on attached to bug 469082. It does work, provided you supply proper values. The values that work for me are:
browser.link.open_external = 2
browser.link.open_newwindow = 3
(don't bother with extensions.tabsopenrelative.linksonly)
Three stars are a credit to author, hoping he will make good on his promise to keep this add-on up to date. Again, as of now this is a straight copy of someone else's work done back in April 2009, plus incorrect default preferences values that make it unusable "out of the box".

Hide All Toolbars

The Ultimate! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent extension. Everything else is a compromise. I wanted max real estate in a small window - i.e. without going full screen (F11) - and this one delivers.

I have one suggestion:

Ignore F4 when the full screen (F11) is on - to avoid confusion when coming back from full screen mode. As an alternative: use F11 instead to cycle through All visible - All hidden - Full screen. The additional benefit here is that F4 is spared for something else, minimizing possible conflict with other extensions' hotkeys.
