Broke Hangouts SideBar, Finally Disabled Rated 2 out of 5 stars
This add-on used to work well, and it did not seem to be causing an issues until last week. I noticed that the Google Hangouts/Chat sidebar within Gmail webmail was unable to open in Firefox, and disabling the add-on brought it back. So, reluctantly, I have had to permanently disable this add-on. Apparently it has not been updated in some time...
Not Compatible With Current Mobile Firefox Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Love it on my desktop, but won't download/install on mobile Firefox browser v32.0.3, running on Galaxy Tab S w/ KitKat 4.4.2. Not sure it's a good idea anyway, as it may not sync with desktop version already in use...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.2.1127.1-signed). Sorta Works Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Works nicely to shut FF (32) completely on mobile device (Android 4.4.2). However the drop-down Quit button keeps vanishing (often after reboot), and can only be restored by disabling then re-enabling the add-on. Bug?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.18.06.1-signed.1-signed).
Works Fairly Well Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Some very handy features on this extension, but one noticeable glitch. The "free" account says it includes "Accounts," to protect your passwords. But I have never seen that tab in my Privacy Dashboard, and there is nothing in Settings to turn it on. So apparently it is NOT part of the free account services, as indicated on the free/paid version feature comparison page. Otherwise, masked e-mails and tracker blocking are outstanding privacy features. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.2.1127.1-signed).
"New" Version Does Not Work In FF28 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I can't live without this wonderful cat theme, but the latest version, 5.6.3, recently updated to work in FF27, now does NOT work in FF28. (And I hear FF29 is coming soon.) However, the workaround (changing em max version # in .jar file) previously described on this board DOES still work, and is very easy to do. Just try following previously posted instructions, and you will have your cats back in no time...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.6.3). v5.6.2 Not Working in FF 27 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Love these cats, can't surf without them. But v5.6.2 is NOT compatible with FF 27. However, previously described workaround still works. Changed max version to 29 and re-installed.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.6.2). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
WORKAROUND WORKS! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The workaround described by MT7523 (link several posts below) works like a charm for Red Cats (blue flavor). Finding a working download for the theme is a bit tricky (the developer's website is totally down), but with a bit of poking around, it turned up. The instructions are easy, and it worked.
One note, I completely UNinstalled the Red Cats theme from FF13 before upgrading to FF14, and THEN installed from the adjusted .jar file on my desktop. And voila! The kitties were back. MUCH appreciated, as FF isn't FF without Red Cats (blue)
Disabled In v.14 So Far Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've loved this theme for YEARS, but it appears to be disabled by Mozilla in FF v.14 so far. I'm on v.13b7, and they are pushing v.14b8 now, and RedCats (blue) is still disabled. I am hoping you will soon do whatever you have to, to make it viable in v.14. FF has become a rather big PITA, but it's still the best all-purpose desktop browser out there. I just can't browse without seeing my RedCats every day...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.5.2).
Incompatible In Firefox 13 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is an absolutely fantastic add-on, a vital tool for web designers, and I have enjoyed using it. Unfortunately, it is incompatible with, and therefore disabled in, Firefox v. 13 (beta). I hope it can/will be updated soon. Meanwhile, I have installed it in Chrome, where it works well. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.4).
Doesn't Work Any More-- No, Wait... Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Suddenly stopped working. Won't check either of my Gmail accounts in FF 6.0.2. I have Webmail Notrifier v 2.7.10. Very disappointing, as this has been a most useful add-on and has worked fine for a few years now.OK, just downloaded v 2.8 and Gmail is working again. Oh no, wait, the add-on is now causing severe crashing of Firefox, scripts that freeze, and various other problems. Yuck! Time to uninstall until this app is working again....This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206-signed). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Reinstalled after initial hassles, and now seems to work better than before, as revisions and upgrades are issued. Have no problem with Gmail interface, and a few other (low-volume) addresses I maintain. Was totally unable to make it work with any POP3 addresses/configurations, but that's not a deal-breaker.
A good and useful add-on.
NO PROBLEMS- WORKS FINE Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Delayed upgrading past FF 3.5.9 due to incompatibility and abandonment of the original IE Tab add-on. Finally broke down and tried IE Tab 2 (disable orginal IE Tab first). Absolutely no problems with installation (once I found the correct page) and operation. Worked great with FF 3.5.9; works perfectly with FF 3.6.3. Identical replacement for original IE Tab. (Stay away from Coral IE Tab- has extra features and some apparent glitches.)
It is strange that Mozilla is apparently refusing to "officially" approve this add-on, making it invisible in a search for "IE Tab" or "IE Tab 2". Makes me wonder what their problem is...

This is a dead-end for all FF 3.6+ versions. I stayed with FF 3.5.9 hoping that this excellent and trouble-free add-on would be updated, but it is not going to be. AVOID the "Coral IE Tab"-- it does have more features but does malfunction in some configurations. Not worth the hassle. I have finally installed "IE Tab 2", which works EXACTLY the same as the original IE Tab (different developer updated the old code). No problems in FF 3.5.9 and now in FF 3.6.3. So long, Hong Jen Lee, it was nice knowin' ya.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.20090525).
PLEASE REVISE FOR 3.6 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Please revise the IE Tab add-on for FF v3.6!! This add-on is invaluable for web development, as well as for sites that just won't render properly in FF. I would much rather not switch to "Coral" version of this add-on, as its reviews are definitely mixed. Apparently, tens of thousands (more?) of IE Tab users feel the same way.
I'm holding off on a 3.6 upgrade for a while, hoping for an IE Tab revision.....

Works fairly well on Gmail and Ymail; install & config were quick and easy. However, caused various problems with my Yahoo log-in and several Yahoo apps. Webmail may somehow log you out of Yahoo and/or cause it to lose your prefs. I normally stay logged in to Yahoo all the time, and now I find myself dumped out frequently. Even when logged in, the Yahoo homepage no longer shows how much new mail I have- Webmail supercedes that function. It's not a bad add-on, just causes some conflicts and the annoyance factor led me to uninstall. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.3).
