Used to be great- made Gmail behave the way it did before Google messed it up. Unfortunately, now it is not working properly-- I have multiple Gmail accounts, and this add-on prevents logging in to any more than one account, total. I am disabling the add-on, in hopes that the developer might update the code, but not holding my breath.
NEEDS FIX FOR FF v40 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Just installed FF version 40, and the Red Cats (Blue) .rdf file needed tweaking again (changing maximum version #).
The theme now works again, but unfortunately THE MINIMIZE-MAXIMIZE-CLOSE BUTTONS IN THE UPPER RIGHT OF THE MENU BAR HAVE VANISHED. They are restored when the theme is disabled, so apparently a code change is needed in the Red Cats themes.
Excellent Privacy Services Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I stumbled across DNTMe nearly a year ago, and was so impressed, I bought a multi-year premium subscription. Since then, Abine has transitioned to BLUR, which, while a bumpy ride at times, has proven to be an first-rate set of privacy tools. The masked e-mails, masked credit cards, masked phone numbers, password generators, auto login, and tracker blockers all worked nearly perfectly now, and are synced across my devices. There are occasional hiccups, mostly due to certain sites' coding, but Abine's customer service is First Rate. Have a modicum of patience, and any problems always get fixed. I am very pleased with this add-on, and feel that a subscription is money well spent. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.5.1334.1-signed).
Works Fine Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been using this add-on since the original IE Tab crashed and burned about 5 years ago. It still works fine for me using FF 24.0 and IE 11 on Windows 8.1. No problems using it for the very occasional site which renders improperly in Firefox. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168.1-signed).
Workaround Still Needed Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Red Cats (Blue) version 5.6.1 does NOT work with Firefox 23.0.1. However, the workaround described earlier still allows installation. You need an earlier version of Red Cats (I use 5.5.2), change its .jar file to a .zip, open the .rdf file in Notepad, change the "max version" to something like 24 (or maybe 54?), save it, change back to .jar, and then install the (edited) add-on from its location on your hard drive. Not difficult to do, but a shame the developer is not keeping up with FF evolution. I just love the cat theme, especially as I often compute with real live cats sitting on my lap and on my old CRT monitor...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.6.1). CAN'T UPGRADE WITHOUT IT Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I have used, and enjoyed, the Red Cats (Blue) theme for so long, that this is the first thing I checked when considering FF4. And until this theme works for FF4, I'm stuck at 3.6.16. So Slinky and I are fervently hoping for the necessary code changes asap. This is the only theme I have ever used/wanted. Thank you for creating/updating it.

Did not work on embedded midi (.mid) sound files. Disappointment. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).
