Any way to change the key from Shift to Ctrl? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great add-on, it was exactly what I needed for Firefox.
The only thing I'd like is to change the key from Shift to Ctrl.
I would appreciate it if you told me how to do this, if not maybe consider adding it as an option?
EDIT: Yes, this is what I meant. I am aware that Ctrl is used for other things, but so is Shift as well.
Thanks for the quick reply and for considering my suggestion.
uBlock Origin made my browser 200% faster Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I had issues with Firefox for a long time, and nearly all of them were in regards to performance.
Slow loading times, mini-freezes, messages telling me that some script is not responding, etc.
I had the suspicion that my adblocker (AdBlock Plus) was causing this, so I decided to put it to the test.
Disabled AdBlock Plus, installed uBlock, enabled a lot of its filters (most of them), and voila: Firefox was actually much more responsive, and from what I can tell so far, all performance issues are gone.
Its ridiculous, because I have about as much filters enabled as I had with AdBlock Plus. Maybe even more.
In any case, uBlock pretty much saved my browser, as I was considering switching to something other than Firefox.
Absolutely necessary add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
As the title says, this add-on is absolutely necessary for users like me.
But as of FF v52.0, Mozilla decided to make downloads look even worse, and now the progress bar of the downloads is a horrible blue mess, instead of using the default windows progress bar.
If there's any way to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it.
If not, then could you at least point me in the right direction?
EDIT: Thank you for the response and the update.
Very interesting info.
The bar is now thicker, but still pretty much the same.
Thank you for trying to fix it though, even though this is clearly Mozilla's doing.
In any case, it isnt actually an issue, more of an aesthetic annoyance.
I.e. I like the animated progress bar from Windows, and I'm used to seeing it whenever there is a file copy or download active, so its also a change from what I am so adamantly used to.
I hope this add-on will continue to exist in this form in the future?
I dont know how or IF it will work when webextentions are the only thing that will work on FF...?
Great Add-on for YT Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This is a really useful add-on, it really helped me solve the problem I was having with youtube.
For some unknown reason, youtube's default "remember last position" broke, and every video played from the beginning, regardless of length.
With this add-on, the functionality was restored, and is now even better, since it accurately remembers the position every time, on all videos (YT's didnt work sometimes).
It would be even better if there was an option to not remember the position for the first few seconds (specified by the user), much like there is an option to not remember the last few seconds.
I think it would be easy to implement since there already is a similar function.
Ctrl + Mouse Wheel doesnt work properly Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Ctrl + Mouse Wheel doesnt work properly, it doesnt do full-page zoom, even though its supposed to.
When mousing over the zoom level toolbar icon, and using the mouse wheel, it can do proper full page zoom properly.
Also Ctrl + Mouse Wheel doesnt actually register as any kind of zoom, it still shows 100% even though it isnt 100% because text is zoomed.
Must Have Add-on but... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This Add-on is a must have, I simply can't do without it. It restores the old Bookmark star that I've come to love over the years.
Now, having said that, the add-on used to work perfectly until the latest Firefox 47.0.
Mozilla decided to screw something up, once again, so now when clicking the star to bookmark a page, presents the unnecessary dialogue with "Done" and "Remove Bookmark" in it.
I dont want to confirm my bookmark, I want to simply left-click on the star without confirmation.
Also, the "Remove Bookmark" button used to be in a different location, towards the top, now its at the bottom right side of the box.
All this used to be fine up to Firefox 46.0.1.
Now with Firefox 47, it seems things are starting to go bad.
I know this seems very trivial to most of you, but I hope the add-on gets updated to be just like it used to.
EDIT: I cannot begin to describe how awesome you are, Aris.
Thank you so much for this beta build, it helps A LOT.
Also, thank you for the quick response too.
