great addon, easy, simple to use, really a must have!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.4).
Does what it says, was looking for this kind of addon, great for my late night review browsing with less stress on the eyes, though you should mention you have to right-click a webpage to use Aniverto as it was a bit unclear at first, a button or key-shortcut would also be very welcome.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
I have been using this addon for a while now, and after "playing around" with it more and digging deeper into supercookies i do have 2 suggestions:
1. having an option to protect certain lso's instead of the entire folder, for example; twitch.tv stores 4 cookies while only 1 stores the stream settings, but they are all in the same folder so i cannot get rid of the 3 without also deleting the 4th one that i need to keep
2. many websites overwrite the default flash "settings.lso" to include their own and/or other "visited" websites and can change the camera/mic/etc.. settings in it, an option to protect this default lso from being overwritten would be great, and i might just have figured out how to do it manually;
When i make the default lso "read-only" it adds a new file called "settings.sxx" every time a website tries to overwrite it but cannot, this file contains the settings and domains it has tried to overwrite the default lso with, therefor making this new "settings.sxx" file read-only too (after copying and pasting the content from your non-overwritten default lso), it will not add another file when a website fails to overwrite the default one (nor the .sxx one for that matter)
also, a more personal matter; the checkbox in the flash manager on adobe.com for unchecking thrid-party lso access is unavailable for me, and i cant seem to figure out why (did they make this option unavailable on purpose in the latest flash releases or is it on my end?), flash is updated and i am using the latest version of PaleMoon x64 (firefox based), i presume "allowThirdPartyLSOAccess" will be "disallowThirdPartyLSOAccess" to effectively disable it in the default lso? changed it anyway with .sol editor
Thank you for your time and effort making this wonderful addon!
Great addon, but i was forced to remove it and use Disconnect instead, for as long as i used Ghostery there was a bug where it did not scan the page and didnt block anything, i never really knew why or how but it was greyed out and not blocking until i refreshed the pageThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.3.1).
I have been using it for a while now, its really a great addon, but since i updated my Pale Moon x64 to v24.0 it showed a black screen on all youtube videos, so after a reinstall of the addon it doesnt show the option button anymore, same with v2.0.1This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.1).
thanks for this great addonThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.21).
i dont know why people are complaining about it not working in win7 x64? i have been using it (not the beta's) for months without any problemsThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.10).
for some reason this addon made loading webpages actually slower than without it, i praised this addon on xp, but now i have win7 (64-bit) and it loads pages to around 90%, then takes another 5-10secs to fully complete, refreshing the page does fix it, but thats annoying and not something i was planning to do every time, after disabling all my addons and re-enabling them one by one i found out it was this addon that caused it, so i changed the strings in about:config myself and uninstalled the addon, and now everything loads superfast againThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.8.2Lite).
about my previous review, it seems that i accidentally have hit the "reset to default" in the options, which put the "allow" option back in the list, after adding the option back to the icon all works perfectly again :)
since the 3.5.5 update i can not choose to allow anything anymore, only temporarily, block or allow globally, unless i add the site to the whitelist, any fix for that?
works great on v3 indeed, thanks for the tip miazza! :)
great skin! im just not a big fan of the throbber, everything else is great though!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.08.06.25).
i wish there was an option to remove the entire clear list/search field, for a "clean" window =)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5b).
great addon, but could you make it work in FF3 please?
