My Reviews
JSONView
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
So my particular web app surfaces JSON responses with content-type: text/html. I know, that's not cool and we shouldn't do it, but I don't always have control over such things... Would be nice if there was some "view as JSON" button I could click somewhere.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2).Web Page Fixer +
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I like it for the way it blocks infinite alert() DOS attacks, but don't like the fact that it's a "all-in-one" package with so many other features. Especially as a web developer, I don't want too much stuff messing with my viewing experience.
You should make a separate extension that just does the alerts.
RSS validator
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I generally need to do RSS validation while my code is still in development (which means it's not on a publicly accessible server). Would be great if the validator would run locally on my box. Otherwise, it's not much use to me.
Speak It
Useful, but get rid of the animations. Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Too many animated icons, both in the "Add-ons" list and the statusbar icon that keeps subtly rolling its eyes at me.
Maybe that's a usability feature for the visually impaired users you undoubtedly cater to? Even still, you should make the animations optional. I'm uninstalling because of them.
