My Reviews

Multi Links

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I haven't and won't use this add-on, because the manner of inducing it is retarded. It should be trough the context menu like Linky, if this is ever changed I will use this one.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0.15).

Tab Kit

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

There's no way to turn off the tab coloring, which is extremely annoying since your software does not have any way to actually make every tab a different color (coloring tabs is rather pointless if two or more tabs have the same color... ). Colorful Tabs does this for me, and used to work quite nicely; at some point you obviously "upgraded" (in this case, meaning downgraded) your software so that now we cannot turn the coloring off. PLEASE FIX THIS it is very important...

Unread Tabs Supreme

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I chose this add-on specifically because it does not use a different color or bloding. That ould draw all of my attention to only unread tbs and be very annoying. Perhaps an option to choose the color of the text on the unread tabs would be good. Also in Eddie's review, he points out all of the things you would expect - obviously, if you restart FireFox, all the tabs should be in italics because they HAVEN'T BEEN CLICKED ON YET =\. However there could perhaps be an option to right-click the tab and 'mark all tabs read" for those rare cases when you may want to mark them this way, or in case you need to separate all the currently open tabs from some ore that you are about to open.

HootBar

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This add-on functions from the URL bar instead of a toolbar, making it unnecessarily hard to use and requiring extra clicks, as well as a very high possibility of accidental error (i.e. pressing 'enter' like one would generally automatically do after typing anything into an input box). The preferences area should have a space to enter your log-in and password, so that the add-on does not malfunction when Twitter randomly deletes your logon as it likes to do, or if you have not yet logged in to Twitter when posting, or if you prefer not to save your cookies. In addition, this add-on is packaged with irrelevant SPAM-ware the way that corporations like AOL do. The review will be two stars for functionality, but since the add-on does not even wotk in the first place, many people will interpret the correct rating as a '1'.

Google GBA roms

This add-on cannot be downloaded using the current Beta version (I assume; the one located at the link entitled "Fastest FireFox") for Linux.

Close Duplicate Tabs

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I think this has been updated since I last used it, because it used to work. However, there is no link to the older versions. This version fools people into thinking it does not work. It ALWAYS, WITHOUT EXCEPTION says, "No tabs closed". However, it actually closes some tabs if any are duplicates. There is also a more important malfunction. It also closes all tabs that are still loading.

Magic: The Gathering Toolbar

It doesn't work anymore they changed the search site. Can you please fix it?

Magic: the Gathering Toolbar

This extension doesn't work. The author seems to have gotten the address syntax wrong, and he has abandoned the project, therefore it will not ever work. (If you want to take up on it, please e-mail ME too :P.)

Aero Fox XL

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

So, in browsing this site I've noticed that most theme SUCK. They are stupid and don't change anything; cool ones (like Harley or Fantasy or Game-based) have huge icons and/or make things unreadable. This theme looks "pretty good" on preview, but load it, it's awesome.

STOP! Hammertime!

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Idea is fuckin'-A, but big problem here, the clip stops prematurely, so that Mr. Hammer only says, "Stop! Hammertin-", instead of "Stop! Hammertime." (That's "Hammerti-" and half an 'm'.)

Really dumb, in LJ you reply to an individual comment not a message board topic...

LiveJournal Addons

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This is a HORRIBLE thing to try. It takes up a huge amount of space in your status bar, which does not seem to be optional. But, I can't even TELL if it is optional because in the exorbitantly long list with 6 tabs worth of options, only ONE is readable. However, that one option doesn't do anything. Every option is written in advanced programming language, the only thing I could figure out how to do was add in my LJ name (which, as I said, didn't do anything). And the "support" site isn't even in English!

Firefox 2 Default for Vista

...Wow, how friggin dumb.

ColorfulTabs

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I think it would be wonderful if you added coloring to the drop-down menu as well - that is, when I click the arrow on the right side of my tabs, to see all 80 open tabs, Tab A in that menu is the same color as Tab A in the tab bar.

ShortShip Pro - smart eBay buying tools

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This sounds like a stupid extension. It may have useful features, but would you not expect those to be listed on the website if so? EBAY allows you to sort by shipping, EBAY only shows prices in your home currency, etc., etc...

Yes popups

Unessecary because Mozilla already has this in FF.

goo Green Label

I suppose that would explain why last time I installed this, at 3 - 4 searches a day no longer using Google unless this search couldn't find, after three months the tree still said '0'.

ColorfulTabs

Do NOT change the tab colors "based" on anything. Many other extensions do that, and what it means is the extension will no longer look pretty. That is what I think about that comment. Thanks.

Session Keeper

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I don't know what you think is wrong with keeping sessions for more then one page. I use a portable hard drive with FireFox on it. Fortunately, FireFox keeps cookies in the %appdata% folder, so all I have to do is copy that folder to keep add-ons, settings, and sometimes, cookies. But if I cannot get to another computer for more then say 3 hours, then when I reload the pages to start *exactly* where I left off, then for some websites, such as Facebook, I have lost half my data! It takes you to a login page which redirects you to the home page after you log in. Now what do I do if I am lost?! I suppose this explains why the add-on didn't always seem to be working...
