Loads slow but works great after gif has loaded. You should have written above about the controls not being visible and not simply put that info in the image section, That really threw me for a loop trying to figure out how the thing works. You simply use mouse clicks to play and pause the gif and the scroll-wheel to move thru the frames. Click on "View Image" in the context menu to load gif into player. From the description I was expecting to see a new entry in the context menu saying "View Image to a GIF." Not so. Great addon otherwise. Thanks.
I set Google to show 50 search results but Google gives you really bad search results when you do this. It gives you multiple on top of multiple results from the same website. Now I can set it for fewer results and have the pages auto-load. Giving this addon 5 stars just for that functionality. Haven't tested any of this addons other features yet. If you are using NoScript you will see that SmarterFox.com is blocked and you will have to unblock that site in order to enable some of this addons features. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.0.2).
Used link they gave on my Android tablet and I get a message that says "You need to be on a phone or tablet setup Site to Phone." Thanks for wasting my time.
I just tried downloading a video from Youtube but it didn't work. I tried every format but when I checked the folder it was empty. The only thing I am doing differently is I changed my settings in Firefox so that I didn't have to deal with teeth-grinding HTML5 video on Youtube.
Is this a problem with the latest version of Firefox? 16.0.1?
There is no updated version of this addon at the web address the previous reviewer listed. I unzipped the XPI package and updated the max version to 13.0.1 in the install.rdf text file and it is working great for me.
This addon works if you have it set up correctly in the addon's options. The only thing I don't like is when a new tab is opened the focus changes to the new tab. It needs an option to keep the focus on the current tab. I figured out that I can do all of this with Tab Mix Plus so I didn't need this addon after all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.2011120101).
Firefox was loading webpages agonizingly slow and I had no clue what the problem was until I disabled "Fasterfox." Now it is working fine. Just glad to have my browser working normally again. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.9.8).
I couldn't get the keyboard shortcut to work. Ended up using the auto-hide option. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0).
Have to disagree with the last reviewer. I didn't realize this addon still had any functionality, so I tested it but the results were not good. I was able to get some tabs to change color. Other wouldn't change and once the color changed I wasn't able to further modify it. It also seems to have other strange effects on tabs. At times I couldn't tell which tab I was on. It seems to effect the way the tabs are drawn now. I wish someone would update this addon. I am really surprised there aren't more who are looking for this to be updated. This used to be one of my favorite addons. This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
InformEnter has a problem on Google and other sites where the arrow ends up inside the search box or there is an additional arrow inside the search box. Indispensable addon otherwise. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.3).
Sorry, but I have to give this one star. The Dolphin browser version makes it very easy to add websites to Speed Dial by simply holding your finger in the address bar and you then get that as one of the options that comes up. To not have this in the Firefox version is not acceptable. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.6.4).
Wanted to turn a turn a page into a PDF. Tried Web2PDF addon. Didn't work. Tried PDF & Print with JoliPrint. Didn't work. Tried PDFit. Finally, I have the page. I think I am going to keep all three addons for the time being just in case run into more problems and need to try an alternative.
I tried the "official fix" that Enkrod listed and it didn't work, but I found this link at the Firefox forum and it worked for me: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10199236/fast_dial-3.5.1-fx-modified.xpiThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.4). This addon is easy to update. Use Internet Explorer to download the addon then use a zip program like jZip to open the archive and then open the install.rdf with a text editor. Find the line where it says "maxversion" and insert 6.0.2 between the arrows like so: >6.0.2<. Then close and save and then if it you are ask to up update archive, do that as well when closing zip program. Now you have to look for the gear icon on Firefox's extenion's manager and in the drop down menu select Install Addon From File and you should be all set. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
As near as I can tell this addon is useless. It opens up a dialog or whatever it is you want to call it and you still have to search for the folder you want the bookmark to reside in. I'm at a loss to figure out what the point of this addon is.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.0.20110615).
This Addon needs work. You can't change the options because it doesn't size the window right and you can't see the button to make the changes. Seems to work fine otherwise. This user has a previous review of this add-on.

For anyone who can't this version to work, click on Version 3.4 link down below underneath where it says Release Notes. This will take you to the Versions page and the first version listed is Versions 3.5b1. This version works. I'm only giving this three stars because I have been stuck for the last couple of weeks with no Fast Dial and finally figured out where to find a working version. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.4). Just installed it this addon. Had to update the max. version in the install RDF file. Seems to work well. Zoom controls work but the buttons for font size don't, but I would think zoom would be all a person would need. Not sure about the other controls. I am using it to change background colors. To up the max version in the RDF file you will need to open this page with Internet Explorer and download Accessibar to your computer. Use a free zip file program like jZip to open the XPI archive, then right-click on the Install.rdf file and open it with notepad. Scroll down to where it says "Firefox" and look for this line: <em:maxVersion>3.0</em:maxVersion>. Change 3.0 to 4.0 and then close Notepad and click yes to save changes. Then jZip will ask you if you want to save archive. Click "Yes". Now go to "Addons" under the Tools menu in Firefox and click where it says "Extensions". Over at the top, right side of the screen there is a gear icon. Click on that and then click on "Install Addon From File". Navigate to wherever you saved the XPI file, install it, restart Firefox and you should be good to go. Hope this was helpful. This addon seems to change the background of every page you go to globally unlike a bookmarklet which only changes the page you are on. I don't exactly like this behavior and I don't see any way to make Accessibar use a webpages original specifed colors (I now see the restore button at the very end of the toolbar). More options for global or page by page changes would be very helpful. Or a way to pause accessibar from making changes. I think the color pallet is too limited. More colors for backgrounds like beige, almond, antique white, and anti-flash white for example would be nice.
