works well, easy to switch to various user agents and customizable list. seems light on memory too. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.3).
perfect for keeping "Web History" active on my phone but disabled on my desktop.
i wanted a SIMPLE, LIGHTWEIGHT, and SNAPPY way of switching between "normal" web view and a dark "night time" style view. 1 click does it! nice job.
after trying it out and loving it, decided it has some drawbacks. i hate to click twice to go back to normal view. i dont like an entry in my right-click context menu. not bad but prefer "color-toggle" add on now. does the same thing as this one but seems better. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
To be fair developer does say "On complex sites with many background images this add-on might need much memory while editing."
but trying this on Facebook left Firefox hanging for 5 minutes straight before i just forced quit it. this thing will eat up memory and leave your firefox session unresponsive.
if you are just looking to change the colors of sites you visit, try other add-ons or things like Stylish. this add-on is for harddcore web developers only.
does what it says.
let's me highlight text or right-click images/video on sites that forbid it. no need to reload the page, just click RightToClick button, wait a few seconds till the icon animation finishes, and enjoy!
i have been using this add-on for a long time, never any problems. a few hiccups with google's server-side a couple times but developer rapidly patched it in a day or 2. strongly recommend this.hint: if you select a big block of text to translate, the pop-up menu will seem to show just the first line. hover mouse over that first line and you'll get a big pop-up showing the whole text block's translation. This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
no problems, does what it says.
if you are seeing the "link sent to phone" message but not receiving it on the phone, logout of Fox2Phone then relink phone's Chrome2Phone app with Fox2Phone. had to do that once, after that no issues.
thanks developer for bringing this function to firefox. now i can avoid chrome for awhile more!
i was using AdBlock Lite, but when it stopped being supported i came here (seems to be same developer). works well for me, seems lighter weight than official AdBlock. If you are having memory issues, reduce your adblock subscriptions. i manually added EasyList entries only for the sites i visit most, and its much smoother/faster now. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.9).
very simple. puts a button in your toolbar that basically toggles Firefox's own text color and background color settings. i tried firefox's color settings and even window's built-in "high contrast" mode, but both of these had the problem of making some fields/buttons on some sites invisible. it was a hassle then to revert back to a light theme.but with this add-on, i leave it on most of the time, but can easily toggle it off with one click. overall not a perfect solution, but the best and most simple ive found.
works as advertised. This user has other reviews of this add-on.
fast, simple, just what i wanted. does large or small text just fine (for larger translations, see the pop-up bubble to get it all). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
i love feedly, but feedly development seems focused on chrome. i installed chrome alongside firefox purely for feedly. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (14.0.482).
this little app seems underused and underappreciated. it deserves more users and more positive comments. this is basically "Chrome to Phone" but for firefox. and yes, it sends the page directly to your android "Chrome to Phone" app. great for sending a couple of pages from Firefox to my android just before running out the door.
lightweight, unobtrusive. thanks for providing the detailed instructions in the description for getting the "map link" feature to work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.6).
works as advertised
does just what i wanted it to do.
i use this about 100 times a day. totally unobtrusive, fast, easy to use. deserves 10 stars. works on any language text and any amount you can highlight.
perfect for annoying korean websites that don't let you copy the text or right-click to save images. one click on this add-on's icon, and the page reloads with all normal clicks/menus enabled. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.9.4).
