Caution with locate into Menu Bar Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I have like this add-on for a while, however, certain functions up CPU load, so I do not use those.
Be cautious if you attempt to locate it on the 'Menu-Bar' on a Macintosh 10.4.11, using Firefox 3.6, as I did this evening.
It will repeatedly crash Firefox, until you restart in 'Safe Mode' to delete it, then reinstall it.
Hope the developer reads this aslo.
It prompts the Apple pop-up of 'Error, Bad Access', Please report to Apple.

NOTE TO ANGELICA T:
The 'support section' hyper-link to the Right of this 'What do you think?' Box, leads directly back to this (same) page.
However, thanks for developing this, and I look forward to when it gets 'fixed'.
I did enjoy it while/when it was working.

I must Second 'Hauntedby13', and any prior commentators. The Weather Alert has led to a Blank-Page for Days on end now.
Also, for Int'l Satellite Maps...
Which Map can I use to see the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico?
I can't find them anywhere, but maybe I am more USA-centric than I had thought?

Thank-you to all of the Reviewers, and a Big Thumbs Down, Netcraft, for not provif=ding Images of the Large Toolbar that these people speak of.
I would never install such 1980's to early 1990's technology such a (the) Real-Estate hogging Toolbars API's~!

I think I found this through 'Recommended Add-ons'. But, after arbitrarily selecting some Personas, I stopped and settled on 'Antartica', I then turned around to tell someone about this, and noticed my fan-speed had increased. BTW: I had done the proper thing and went back to default-theme before adding this...
I will explore more when I am more wide-awake, going on 11pm here...
and I will report back if I still have the same fan-speed increase.
FF3.0.10 on a PPC 1.42 GHz Mac-Mini here.

I like it, and would give it 4-5 stars if only I could stretch-out, or scroll the full address of the Bookmarks I have for each day. (see your 'Configure Morning Coffee' for what I mean here.)
Often I wish to delete them, but of course, have to open them all to see what I have in there for that day.
Otherwise, it is a very handy tool.

Behavior is wrong.
Highlighter in the Toolbar shows only background colors.
What if I have several, if not all kept at the prior versions 'No Background'?
Then all I see to select is 5 versions of White.
Terry, Please fix this.
PS: I should 'NOT' have updated.
I do not see a place to report Bugs to here, as Mozilla requests below 'Rate-It' Box.
Terry, Please provide a place to report bugs.
At present needs clearer instruction, However read lot's of Reviews here for clearer instructions. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I find Highlighter-Text Marker API's very useful, as I do a tremendous amount of research.
I do not use 'tracker icons' at all, but enjoy the ability of highlighting in 2-3 colors various points made by differing parties, or stressing differing importance of statements in an article with different colors.
I sorely miss one highlighter/text marker that I did have up to FF3 becoming mandatory for on-line FireFox usage.
It had, not a shift-key function, but a right-click option to change colors on the fly...
No leaning back over the keyboard to find that one key when I am leaning back to enjoy/peruse/study a very long article.
BTW:Additionally, I use highlighters/text-markers also for Health Research for both my Elder Sister's Back issues, as well as my own.
I would rate this 5-stars if I could do it all with my Mouse!
However, Thank-You Mr. Yuen for offering a product that does what this does.
Maybe in another version someone could add a right-click function, instead of a shift-key?
I would try, but I am no code-writer.
Yikes! I just read more Reviews, and discovered that this is indeed possible!
Thank-You TeaFrog for your informative review!
You can also clear a single highlight, change its colour and clear all highlights; I've tried another similar apps and the clearing of highlights was… not available!! ENDQUOTE.
NOTE: I also have 'Highlighter 0.1.4' on an Apple/Mac, and using FF3.
Up until today, perhaps 2 months after installation, I FINALLY used the 'Instant Highlight' function, which had been sitting up there all the time ready for me to use, and NOW I have all the functionality that I need.
By having a Mac, and most probably on a MS Windows IE Browser as well.. saving all the highlights into one neat package is a two-step process.
I simply save as 'Web-Page, complete', then open that file with Safari, save that; then if so desired, I can delete the two-part FF web-page, there-by reducing my saved web-page into one tiny package.
I don't often do this as I have folders dedicated to scores of 'saved web-pages', and a 60G hard-drive... but using the MS Windows procedure that user ' abcdef ' mentioned, (comment title was: ' Hightlights do NOT SAVE ')
as ' webarchive format ', then yes, it can be saved as one tiny little package.
Too small of an Image to care to add-on, at present. Rated 1 out of 5 stars
