I'm a member of the Wikia Technical Team.
I'm also an administrator of:
* 4programmers.net - the biggest Polish site for programmers
* guildwars.pl - the official Polish fansite of Guild Wars
And good music lover:
var toolbar = document.getElementById("PersonalToolbar"); window.setToolbarVisibility(toolbar, display);
Now I get simple one-click way to hide both toolbars - great for screen sharing to quickly hide distracting stuff.
Would be good to add this officially, as option maybe.
In order to have it working with FF 34+ you must edit 2 files in flashblock.jar/content/flashblock: flashblock.xml and videoblock.xml - and in <biding id="..."> element add bindToUntrustedContent="true" param. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.17).
Does not work anymore. On recent FF update VSW cleared the list of editors and there is no way of adding new one. After picking path and setting the name it's not stored. The list stays empty. Any working alternative? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.4.2). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
There is no edit comment button (?!).
Magically after a day it started to show numbers again in FF 30, so my previous comment is not valid anymore.
With Firefox 30 Brief no longer shows number of unread rss. It shows only icon and the option to show the number does not work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.2). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Had to edit source and remove [shift] to bring back one of the oldest feature of every browser that Mozilla decided to remove. Stop animating gifs on [esc] press. Sad it's yet another extension to fix FF bug assumed by Mozilla to be a feature.
* Does not have UI (need to remember shortcut)
* Colors URLs in address bar to green (why?)
It was the most needed extension. The one that even Chrome can't have (they block altering such shortcuts). And now what? Mozilla broke it with the rapid development..
Any hero out there to fix this small gem?
Finally, a working extension!
I always used Add N Cookie (now Cookie Editor) but they can't save any changes. Here no problems. FF 15.0.1
Works the same as Add N Cookies. View only, no ability to create nor edit. Changes are not saved. So totally no difference in features comparing to original. Only window size fixed, nothing more.

It used to be a great addon but since like FF12 or close to that it stopped to work as it should. Clicking on icon does nothing. In order to open HTML in the editor we have to click drop down menu showing all HTML, JS, CSS, and select 1st position. Then it works. Irritating workaround. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.1.1).
It's enough to change maxVersion and this extension works great with newest Firefox - 10.0.2 at the moment. The only minus is that extension doesn't remember size of the window and it starts too small but that's a relative minor issue.
I'm using it for more than a year. It was good but recently (like 1..2 weeks from now) something changed and now it's unusable. No items in "all" section. In "unread" section there is no way to delete (or mark as read) so I can't track what was read and what was not. The only thing that is working is to mark whole folder as read but this is not handy here. More over, before that recent change it was opening any link in new tab. Now when clicked on header the page is opened in frame inside Brief tab which is ridiculous. Those changes forced me to look for replacement for Brief :(This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.4).
as z0diac said, almost 100% tries end up with "Error: Miscellaneous" (checked with ImageShack) - it used to be great tool, now it just doesn't work.
