Tile Tabs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

For any information junkie, this is a must have addon. TileTabs and Cool Previews changed the way I browse the web. This addon provides the best implementation of this feature I have found.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (9.1).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Tile Tabs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Truly one of the best and most useful addons. I've tried many of the most popular "tile tab/split screen" addons and this is by far the best.

Using TileTabs (along with CoolPreviews) has completely changed the way I interact w/ FF.

I was a bit confused by all the options and how TileTab operated in the beginning but its usefulness was apparent from the start. After using it for months and eventually understanding how the program behaves -- it has become an essential addon for me. Can't imagine not having it (along with CoolPreviews).

Kudos to the creator.

Tumblr Post

Selected text should be added to "description" dialog when using "post current page". Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Love the idea.. but when I highlight text on a page and select "post current page" the add-on should paste the selected text into the description field... seems more intuitive that way and saves be the extra step of having to copy the selected text first.

BetterSearch

Icons don't appear since FF3+ Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great Extension... but since 3.0/3.0.1 the icons for 'new window', 'site info' and 'quick preview' no longer appear next to google search entries.

Dictionary Lookup Extension

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Love the extension... just what I was looking for.. but...

Is it just me or does this not work in 'textarea' fields?

When I write posts in 'textarea' fields (such as the one I'm writing in now) I don't get the 'define' option... it would be great if this worked.

I've been wondering if my FF configuration is at fault or if this extension just doesn't work in 'textarea' fields.
