Dude, c'mon, this addon was perfect. Why the change?
First off, please don't suggest I install "Zoom Buttons", which requires THREE buttons, your original extension only required TWO. One for Zoom in/out, and one for reset.Your decision to take this down the single button path is flawed.
I have my middle-click button assigned for screen capture functions, so I can't use that on your button to reset, otherwise I wind up taking a screen capture, and the whole reason I installed this extension, is so I don't have to use the keyboard to operate the zoom.
Not diggin the change. Sorry, but gotta ding ya a couple of stars for its current design.
The icon, e-gad, the other icons were ten times more aesthetically pleasing.
Why the heck hasn't this addon been updated since March 2013? The developer release has more updates, yet the official Firefox addon goes 9 months without an update. Not very reassuring for a PASSWORD addon.Anyhow, Firefox 25 freezes with Lastpass, and this has been on going ever since V25 was released. Why no update to fix? It's been well over a month without a fix in site.
Also, I'm using the current dev release that fixes the freeze issue but has other issues such as the toolbar button getting ridiculously large, and weird form buttons causing issues.
Love this addon, so convenient.
One problem. I'm using FF 17.01, and have "copy automatically in text fields" deselected, yet it still auto copies existing text in text fields.
Works just as advertised. Thanks for this addon.
I love this add-on. It's unbelievably convenient in its functionality working with DOM Inspector to reveal elements of a web page or browser UI. If you're writing userscripts, userstyles, or addons, you'll love this tool. Please keep up the excellent work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.03.20120929).
Thanks again for this incredibly useful add-on. I'm loving the new options you added to 1.3.
I have a suggestion, if possible. Can you add a quick re-size option?
For instance, add a customizable setting in options, whereby a user can add a specific size they prefer their pictures to re size to. Then, by clicking on a picture, it automatically re-sizes to that setting, and double-clicking the picture it reverts back to the original size.
Again, thanks for your hard work and updates.
Nothing grinds my gears worse, than somebody who posts an image to a forum and has absolutely no idea how to resize it to a browser friendly size.
Your extension solves the sheer stupidity or laziness of others. Your add-on works brilliantly. Thank you for helping restoring my sanity just a little more. Please keep it updated.
Excellent extension, however what's with the constant updates?! It seems every other day your extension has an update, which in turn opens a tab to your site when I start/restart my browser. This gets annoying very fast, and it makes it appear like your trying to generate traffic. I mean, c'mon, I have 60 others extensions installed far more complex then this and I rarely get updates compared to this one. You may want to consider adding an option to turn off update notifications via browser. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).
Thanks for the development of this extension, it certainly provides far more flexibility compared to the sort built into Firefox.
However, I find it rather unintuitive. I don't particularly like the sort method of configuring sort options from a separate window. It's almost like a guessing game, hoping you selected everything properly, otherwise things you didn't want sorted get sorted.
There used to be an add-on whereby you could easily sort by right-clicking a bookmark folder and sort options in the menu would appear. Would it be possible to add a similar sort function to your add-on?
Thanks for the continued support.
This is a fantastic alternative to the now defunct Google Toolbar, since it seems there will no longer be support for FF5 and later.
I have a question regarding the search history. It appears there's no real logic as to how the search history queries are stored. For instance, a search I did a month ago is still at the top of my search history, and hasn't budged.
How exactly does the search history get sorted? By most searched? By last searched?
Would you be able to add an option whereby we can choose how we want the search history to be displayed? Such as option for sorting alphabetically, by most search, by last searched. That would be great.
One of my favorite features of Google Toolbar was how it stored my search history, so I can go back and forth looking for my latest queries. I believe the original Google Toolbar always sorted by last search made.
Anyhow, thanks so much for the continued support. This is a fantastic add-on I would be lost without.
Thanks for updating this addon, which seems to now install in Firefox 5. However, when I click the history icons, nothing appears except for a tiny white box. Is this a bug that needs a fix for the latest Firefox? This user has a previous review of this add-on.
I love this add-on. Fantastic idea.
However, it doesn't seem to work well with the All-in-One-Sidebar add-on. Sometimes when I switch between other views and return to bookmarks, none of my bookmarks appear, until I switch around some more to get them back in view.
Also, could you add an option where it will always remember the last scroll position of the bookmarks, even when I restart the browser or new window sessions?
Thanks for developing this great add-on.
Please update this addon for use with FF 4 - 7. It was so unbelievably convenient to use for finding where you were. Fantastic Addon!!!!
I miss it :'(
Thank you for keeping this add-on updated. I just switched over to FF5 and thankfully I see you have an update. I'd be lost without this extension. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.7.8).
This extension simply works, and works perfectly. The ultimate solution for having a quick backup to rely on if something goes wrong adding comments around the net.
In fact, I actually used the functionality of this add-on posting this very comment. Upon hitting "submit review" I got a 403 error from Mozilla's site losing my original comment, though Textarea Cache had my comment ready and waiting to be copied back. :)
Wow, some great improvements. Very useful tool.
When I turn on "Auto Copy", and then proceed to highlight a word to copy, if I go to paste it in a field that has an existing word, and the existing word gets copied, then the original word I wanted to paste gets replaced with what was copied in the field. That kinda makes auto-copy useless.
I posted this before back in June of 2010. Last time you responded stating you were gonna add in a feature so a person can turn off auto copy in fields.
With all the many improvements made to FF4, the standard smooth scrolling still doesn't compare to what this extension provides.
Thanks for keeping it updated and my fluid like scrolling ability working smoothly.
Awesome! Best weather forecaster for Firefox. Thank You!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).
Great addon. Makes browsing Craigslist very convenient. Got a bug to point out. When I'm on reddit.com, and click the comments of any submission that has "craigslist" in the title, the moment I go to the comment page the fusion window pops up and puts all the comments inside of it, as if I'm on a craigslist page. Very strange. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (7.6.2).
I remember a similar addon that has long since abandoned. Thank you for creating a new version. It's so simple to use.
I tested it by doing a google search for ipswift then clicking the ipswift top result since that site lists your Referer. I had the addon set for zero, and the result for "HTTP Referer" was "none". So your addon appears to work as advertised.
