Very useful, thanks.
There's one glitch, though: middle click and Ctrl-click don't work.
Very good addon.
Just one thing missing:
would it be possible to have an option "focus on search bar"?
It is, indeed, a very special plugin. Makes KeePass look in a brighter light.
If I choose to block all pop-ups I cannot allow specific sites using the options button that FF shows me on the top right corner. My choice will be registered within FF's options but not within the plugin own options. I can only add sites manually which is not practical. Turning FF's option to block pop-ups on/off won't make a diffference. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.1-signed).
Great add-on, many thanks.
Could you create an option so we can choose where to locate the floating pane?
This add-on has potential but, as of now, it shows too many shortcomings.
There should be an option to show the icon up by the address bar.
There should be ratings in the searches, like WOT or Siteadvisor (what's the point of knowing if a site is infected if we are already inside?).
The TMW page where we are directed to on clicking the icon should have more detailed information, instead of having to go to a second page.
There are other little things, but I understand this program is very recent.
Just one last thing, who are you? Your site only tells your server location (UK).
It's impressive how such a simple add-on can be so useful. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed).
Now it's compatible again. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.20.1-signed). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Beautiful and subtle.
Many users don't understand what this program is really about.TrafficLight main function is not to rate sites (that module still needs work and I have it turned off). What makes a difference in this add-on is that it scans sites in real time when you open them (it connects to Bitdefender servers and checks the site against a black list). So, if you want a good site rater use WOT. Then install TraficcLight, disable "Search Result Analyser" if you want (that will leave you with the Phishing Filter and the Malware Filter) and you'll have a very good complement to your security set up.
Remember as well that it is a very recent application, but it's evolving fast.
This program evolved dramatically since its beginnings.
It is now a ligh, non intrusive and effective application.
The initial slow downs to your browsing were solved as well.
Even if there is still work to be done I recomend it.
I chose this add-on instead of LastPass because it allows me to store the passwords on my PC. It does what it's supposed to do in an easy and configurable way. Recomended.
P.S. Please stop posting comments about RoboForm marketing pratices. I know you have reason to complain but this is not the place. This is to discuss the free FF add-on.
This is the safest and easiest way to decide when to open a site. It also gives you ratings when searching for images or videos.
Considerably better than the alternatives like Siteadvisor or Linkscanner.
Cannot recomend it highly enough.
Brilliant. Many thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
Why is this add-on always out of date compared with the official site, as eaglewolf pointed out some posts below. It's incomprehensible.
Otherwise it's a priceless security extra. Recomended (but download it from the main site).
