Automatic Save Folder

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

extremely helpful add-on.
when do you plan to update it for fx 3.6?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.3).

Purity

gorgeous theme. one of the best available. more proof that fx developers are wasting their time redesigning the UI

has this project been abandoned? isn't it going to be updated for fx 3.6?

Custom Download Manager

@ steve

what do you mean why? don't you know? mozilla decided that they would end up with a better browser if they would rip off chrome. as you may or may not know, this is chrome like behavior.

and in the future you can also expect expect fx to look more like chrome (and a bit with safari). apparently the people that are developing fx nowadays aren't very original.

Lazarus: Form Recovery

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

will this be updated any time soon for fx 3.6?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.4).

ScrapBook

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

@ victord66: it is compatible with fx 3.5.4

@ anatolica: i knew about the unMHT and MAF add-ons. i just thought it would be cool if scrapbook integrated that function too. that way you would have to use one add-on in stead of two. but it's not that big of a hassle.

now for my question: does anyone know how to change the keyboard shortcut (alt + K) to a different one? it's rendered useless when you're also using Brief (RSS Feed Reader)

Download Manager Tweak

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

are there plans to update the icons any time soon?

ScrapBook

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

please update for fx 3.6

i also have a suggestion. please consider making it possible to export a saved page as a web archive. it would be very useful.

Image Zoom

i'm just curious.. is this still maintained?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.1).

Firefox Sync for Firefox 3.5/3.6

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

garbage, complete garbage

should i begin with the fact that it's virtually impossible to sign in? you wouldn't believe how many times this happened to me.. i typed in the username, the password and the passphrase, hit the sign in button and .. nothing happened. i was just sitting there pushing the damn sign in button without something happening. i could finally get it to work after restarting firefox 3 or 4 times. after signing in you have to put up with the hassle that is actually syncing your damn machine. sometimes if you're lucky it might just work fine, but most times it fails to import your passwords. and if you're unlucky enough (like me) it might just tell you that it can't connect to the server and that you should manually try to sync.

it's been a while since an add-on has upset me like this. it's slow, unreliable and down right annoying. if you have time it's best you check it out for yourself, but my advice is to stay the hell away from this garbage.

Firefox 2, the theme, reloaded

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

i can't believe that after all this time the items still aren't showing properly in the menus..

it's a shame really. if this issue would be fixed this would probably become my default.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.5).

Menu Mod

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

someone suggested this as an alternative to medu editor and i must say i'm very pleased with how it's working. it handles the items in the various menus beautifully.

i have just a few suggestions: in future builds make it possible to change the position of items inside menus, and make it possible to move items in between menus. if you could implement these it would wonderful.

SKY plus!

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

great theme!

it has a very fresh vibe. I especially like the fact that all the toolbars are properly outlined.

one suggestion though. could you possibly stop using the peep-hole back & forward keys, and use traditional arrow keys. I, and i know that a lot of other people do too, prefer those types of keys. please consider this suggestion.

great work nonetheless! :)

Rotate Image

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

terrific concept, good implementation.

I hope though that in the future you will make it more compatible with other add-ons. for example, after I rotate an image, i can no longer use 'Image Zoom' or 'Save Image in Folder' on said image.

I hope you will try to fix this in future updates.

Download Manager Tweak

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

indeed, far better than download status bar

a suggestion for the future.. when one deletes a file from the system using a command from the manager, that item should also be discarded from the list of downloaded items. if not to be made default, that at least it should be optional

Menu Editor

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

does anyone know of an alternative to this add-on, that is actually maintained? there were a few requests asking to look into the issue this add-on has with downthemall, but the developer didn't even bother to reply, so i guess he's moved to other things.

FoxTab

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

it's been a while since I last checked this, and I have to say that I'm very impressed with how much you have developed it. even when I last used about 3 or 4 months ago it was still better that safari's tab panel, but now it just blasts that one into a much more inferior league.

great work

Blue Ice

@ Jivko Evgeniev Rated 5 out of 5 stars

i say you go ahead an update this one for ff 3.5 yourself. and just note in the description that you will cease development at any moment if the original developer wants you to. i went to his homepage and it says that he's working on a version that will be compatible with ff 3. well, ff is at 3.5 right now, so i assume that post could be as old as a year, so he may have halted blue ice's development because he lost interest in it, or in firefox altogether. in any case, i don't think he would mind if you were to update his theme.
