Enhanced History Manager

Export / Save FF History as HTML URLS? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Can't any of you brilliant brainiacs come up with a simple way to save/export Firefox and Camino (both mozilla) history into an HTML page of links which URL Manager Pro for instance can do with Safari's history.

that would be brilliant! thanks

Pretty cool. This little gadget helped me to keep track of my favorite music downloads as well.

Restart Firefox

Great Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works perfectly. I leave Firefox open all day at work and often by the end of the day it's so slow as to be unusable. A quick restart and good as new.

CSS validator

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The CSS version to validate with should be customizable. The w3c css validator has many options.

Really nice little app, and I like that there are both preset times and the option to enter your own.

Sxipper

Not impressed Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I'm surprised by all the positive reviews I'm seeing here. I find Sxipper to be confusing and ineffective.

Sxipper works on some sites but not on others. When I log into the website for my bank, the little Sxipper overlay pops up every single time the screen refreshes. Why is that?? For other sites, I simply can't get Sxipper to remember my login information.

I also order merchandise and have it shipped to multiple different addresses. The form-filling function gets confused and completely messes-up my forms. Very annoying.

I'm going to disable Sxipper as soon as I finish this review.

Web of Trust - WOT

Great - but problems Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This addon is really great! I love it. Maby you could add the option to add the icon to the statusbar at the bottom.

But there is one Problem:
It doesn't work perfectly with Google-Preview. With both plugins activated WOT always shows one icon before the search-result and one behind it. Looks bad, soo many icons!
THE REST IS PERFECT!

Perspectives

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension is the only way that I found to avoid the annoying user-unfriendlyness of Firefox 3!

Sure, you have to trust the notary, but when I just want to *view* some random signed page that shows up by the dozens when searching for some technical information, I just won't afford to waste my time with 1) reaching for the mouse, 2) scrolling (in case the font size is bigger than "nominal" and has pushed the dreadful buttons waaaay down), 3) click 4 buttons (ok, 3 buttons and one additional checkbox because usually I just want a temporary exception) that are so freakin' small that it feels like a new kind of browser game - only that it is stealing my time when I don't want to waste it.

So, again, THANK YOU for this extension!!! It's the only reason I was kept back from switching to Opera (and I had in fact installed it and was training to switch)!

Host Permissions

works well here Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I am using Fx 3.0 with Tab Mix Plus, Bookmark Permissions, and Host Permissions. The extension works well, I have been using for a few months. Just remember if site is opened from the address bar or bookmarks, then permissions will not change. Otherwise, permissions change correctly according to Host Permissions settings. I mostly use add-on to disable redirect for news site I visit from Google News.

Drag de Go

Update for 3.0.6 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

- open it with an unpacker of you choice.
- edit the install.rdf file as following

3.0.6

- save the install.rdf
- add it to the zip file
- rename the zip file to xpi again
- File -> Open in FF and open the xpi

Google Background Changer

POSSIBLE? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I would like an add-on that is similar to this - but works for every page (set an image as the background for EVERY website - like setting a default bgcolor, except, with an image).

MicroFox for Firefox

1.8.44 breaks the Stylish extension as well. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

So staying with 1.8.43 for now.

Denimfox

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

this is one of the most beautiful and calming themes.

unfortunately, there is one reason i am not using it. as a few others have mentioned, there are a few (deeper) menu screens that are unreadable.

i will be keeping this theme so that once it is updated i can see if the issue has been resolved. good luck, i can't wait. :)

i would also agree with whoever said the scroll bar should be lighter vs turning orange on mouseover.

Greasemonkey

You have saved me from missing out on flash videos! Adobe doesn't offer a flash player for PowerPc Linux. I was stuck trying so many different things to get it to work. This did it with such little effort. This is my favorite add-on for this computer. I'm so lucky to have stumbled onto this plugin. Thank you so much!

Fasterfox

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Here's how I got around the "invalid file hash" error: Open up IE7 instead of Firefox and navigate to this page. You will now be able to download the extension without installing it. Once downloaded, just drag the xpi file to the Firefox extensions panel to install. Works great!
