BackTrack Tab History

Works after a restart and is great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This works great after a proper Firefox restart (MAJ+F2, type restart, then Enter).

A great idea well implemented.

How many times did one close the original tab (search results...) only to need to reopen it because after all the opened tabs weren't what you were looking for ? With this add-on, you have the tab history extended to the original tab, so if you close it you can come back to it anyway, which is great.

There's also a forward arrow which helps to track the tabs opened from the original tab point of view.

Everything works nicely (with page forwarding in some websites you get some strange results though).

Norwell History Tools

Very useful but needs some more options Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The default Firefox History is a mess. There's no "absolute history" that records an exact timeline. When you revisit/reopen a page the same day it is put in front, messing up the history. Working from the Firefox history is really frustrating.
As a webdeveloper I often need to find precise stuff in my history like a forgotten thread in stackoverflow or some minor page I was working on two days ago... Or counting the time I spent on a project while mixing several clients/projects.
This tool helps a lot and is way more useful than other History add-ons I tried so far. It is even better combined with the New Tab Override add-on, so you can customize a new tab with the chrome://norwell/content/norwell.xul link to open whenever you open a new tab.
The limits options are very useful and the search great and powerful.
- There is no way to sort the list for instance by clicking on the columns, so no way to have most recent on top, that reduces its productivity.
- There is no way to have some default options, you have each time to redo the filtering, again when we need to work fast is can be quite frustrating.

Those minor hassles corrected that tool deserves five stars (and to be included in stock Firefox)! Thanks to the developer!

Not for responsive design Rated 5 out of 5 stars

EDIT after discussion with the developer :
This tool is set up to measure the size of the entire screen (and does it perfectly), but not for the size of the viewport, as needed for responsive designe development. Please take this in account and use Mozilla developer tool for responsive development preferably.
Five stars for developer help and quick answers !

OLD review : Doesn't work perfectly, adds some extra width due to the scroll bar. Anyway Firefox now has a responsive design option in its developer tools...EDIT (reply to dev answer) : in W7 - Firefox V18.0.2, when you compare the developer view (CTRL-SHIFT-M) width value and the firesizer width value: you should get very different pixel width values... I can PM you more info or help to debug if you wish.
