Unified Search

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi lagoSRL. With regards the option to clear the search bar...

'Mouse Click / Keyboard 'hot-keys'...very subjective and each to their own. IMHO I think providing mouse click options has a higher priority than keyboard hot-keys with 'the modern average user' in mind. So your point about not being intuitive is really the issue, not the preference. Personally I would really like to see the 'clear button' - just habit! Thanks though, it's very useful.

Unified Search

Yesssss...! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

You bl00dy genius. I'm a 'vertical view' TB user and Quickfilter is hopeless in that view mode. This is sooo damn useful. One small request: can we have a 'X' (or something) in the search bar to clear the current search text in one click?

Empty 'em

Nice... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Current version 0.78 works perfectly in TB 3.1.7. Issues have obviously been fixed. This is damn useful. Only niggle is the pop-up telling you the job is done could be faster (it animates a little slowly) - but that is a very minor niggle! I use this constantly.

FEBE

Working on FF4 b6 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

You need the Compatibility Reporter to install the latest FEBE Beta from Chuck's homepage, but once installed this works perfectly so far. I've performed a full and selective profile backup and successfully restored them. One comment here implies that FEBE is 'bloated' which is total rubbish. What it actually offers is flexibility with an intuitive interface and lots of help (click on the small 'i' symbols in FEBE options). It also writes my FF profile backup to my NAS drive without a hitch. Saves a lot of painful fiddling around when restoring my profile to a new Beta build so FEBE gets 5 stars from me. Nice one Chuck...

Panic

Couple of Issues Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi David. Hope this is the best way of contacting you. I like the way you've implemented this, but there's two things that don't seem to work:

1) The tabs that were closed as a result of hitting the 'panic key / button' don't in fact restore. The 'restore key' only restores the home page as in a 'fresh' browser restart.

2) Many chat rooms these days spawn Java pop-up windows. These don't always get closed when hitting the 'panic key / button'. This is something that does seem to work with the 'Panic Button' extension, but the options in 'Panic' are more flexible. Is this something you could look at?

Thanks

If you take a look at 'Panic Button', this does seem to work with all windows / pop-ups, but doesn't have the flexible options that your extension does.

Hopefully you can try this and post back with an update? Thanks.

Panic Button

Yours is actually the ONLY 'boss key' extension that correctly hides ALL open windows / child windows / pop-up windows. Can you possible combine your code with the flexible options in the 'Panic' extension (which doesn't work as well) - It would make Panic Button more usable. Also there really needs to be an option not to have the minimized 'toolbar'. Thanks.

Boss Key and Buttons

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Works well except on Java windows. Many chat rooms / sites use pop-up Java windows and unfortunately these stay open / active when using Boss Key and Buttons. Any chance of fixing that?

RightToClick

Nice One! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Perfect. I hate sites that prevent you highlighting and copying / searching the text you need to select. Essential add-on.

Very nice. If you don't like the tool-tips (as I don't), use the version here Version 0.8.2.2 — August 8, 2009 — 96 KB and see the comments against it. Fine with FF 3.5.5

Add N Edit Cookies

Excellent. Default window size when using the extension is too small though. Be nice if you could tweak that...

NoScript Security Suite

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Jara D - Blip.fm is fine. You need to white-list appropriately. This is one of those extensions that you need to read about carefully and learn. Nothing worthwhile is any different. I've shied away from NoScript in the past - wish I hadn't...superb piece of engineering.

Very good. +1 vote to integrate with FF 'Clear Private Data' (sub-option against the Cookies check box).
