Very nice addon--thank you, Amulya. For asbin, by going into Thunderbird's about:config ("Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General -> Config Editor (button)" I was able to modify extensions.follow_up_ext.calname from "Follow-Up" to the name of my Google Calendar in Thunderbird's calendar list. The follow-up event now syncs to my Google Calendar. That seems to work fine as far as I can tell so far. Maybe that helps.
Very nice... thanks. Makes a great new tab page. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.6.0).
Essential for compulsive searchers--I love it!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0).
For what it's worth, I was having problems after upgrade to 6.0--tried a bunch stuff and then deleted stylish.sqlite in profile directory. DB regen'd on FF restart, added styles back in and everything worked fine. Maybe that will help some others. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1).
@ Foggy Bummer--following your instructions, but when I try to install I get a message that says it can't modify the needed file :(This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8).
FF 5.0--ran from toolbar button with async enabled and alternately disabled and FEBE appeared to perform the same either way--.fbu and .xpi files appeared identical in respective folders. When a full profile backup was selected, runs and displays results page and backup files added to destination directory as expected. Did not try to restore using backup files, but know it worked under earlier versions. When attempted to run a selective backup, FEBE crashed and toolbar button disappeared until FF was restarted. Also tried to run in "Both" mode and FEBE crashed. Seems to only run in full profile mode. Nice full-featured addon--hope Chuck can get wrinkles ironed out. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (7.0.1).
Update to earlier review I posted concerning intermittent loss of Foobar's settings--In my case, believe this was caused by conflict with another location bar related addon--"Old Location Bar". Both nice addons, but did not play nicely together. Thx. Craig! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.1). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Since earlier version, performance issues have been addressed, problem scrolling rows is fixed, dropdown menus function correctly now. Works on 5.0. Didn't see any sponsored links so far and hopefully will not..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
Does what it says it does. Much needed. Thanks Fixedsys. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.2).
They don't come any better--when it's working. Lately it seems to be loosing its settings or reverting to its default and won't pick up my bookmarks. Happens intermittently and couldn't say when. But when it's working, it's great and one of my fav add-ons. Hope Craig gets the wrinkles ironed out. Thanks Craig! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6).
