Without this add-on, Firefox has become an unwieldy, slowly dying wind bag. It will suck in 6GB of memory in a handful of hours, with heavy browser work. That's because of the tons of scripts and media being run on your computer. Even NoScript is not a good alternative, because it's very cumbersome - even if you use it for safety. Just be sure for ATD, that you spend a few minutes in OPTIONS (Tools / Plugins / ATD - Options) because you'll be consuming A LOT of bandwidth needlessly RELOADING stuff you're in the middle of. I am currently using 1,800 seconds before discard (30 min.), instead of the default 600 (10 minutes.)

I cannot believe how potent and how well this thing works. The author / developer / team has something to be really proud of. I haven't tried the no-ads yet because I want to support video producers .. but hey! If YouTube starts making me press the reload key to cancel inane broker ads - I'll consider it!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.58).
THESE 2-3 BASIC FUNCTIONS BLOWN? Rated 3 out of 5 stars
1. After I clip, I want to view using my desktop OneNote 2016. In part because it takes so long to load the web platform - and I NEVER USE IT. I like that it's there - but I very much prefer the full version. ALSO - it NEVER LOADS - NEVER WORKS - I don't have time to schmutz with it now.
2) YOU WOULD THINK they would be able to grab a full page of YOUTUBE - but no - the best you can do is a summary article or a clip.
3) While we're at it - I WANT TO BE ABLE TO CAPTURE A WHOLE PAGE AS AN IMAGE, as a backup to capturing a whole page or an article - since those, sometimes don't work. And never on YouTube.
GROSSLY UNDERVALUED Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is an amazing valuable bit of kit for the researcher - it is the only reliable form of independent visual backup and link of your complete history of your research and browsing efforts. While Firefox may tamper with your history - here is an independent repository of it. After a year these small files will only add up to a gigabyte or two if you are really busy.
WORKS JUST FINE (PERFECTLY? MAYBE!) BUT.. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
BUT.. you have to have a STATUS BAR. You can ADD a status bar - and it's kinda cool - haven't see it for a while. Here's the link:

I'M LIKING WHAT I SEE - full credit is due ... next step COMBINE W UN-MHT! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This one is probably two cycles beyond Abduction! in terms of evolution. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Still in process comparing with some others (incl. SnagIt).
IMO, the DEVELOPER should consider getting with the UN-MHT people to provide an optional possible PARALLEL IMAGE to MHT file saves, which do not not preview in file image viewers nor have thumbnails for file managers (I found that MHT files can only be viewed by opening in or with a browser. This is the current best solution I have found to that.) Then also imagine how great it would be (via UN-MHT) for saving multiple tabs, if you could select image, mht, or both!
Developer does add a partial solution to the problem of no URL: the pro upgrade adds an URL header at least, but of course that's only an image and not a hotlink, because image hotspots require an HTML wrapper - then it wouldn't thumbnail or preview again! You do get the option to put the URL in the name (w or wout title) but that gets non-descriptive and way too long. Is it REALLY NOT POSSIBLE to add an URL entry to the properties? Would sure like a response to that one if anyone knows -- a hotlink or that can at least be copied as text.

I'm looking for a "master toolbar" so I can save vertical space by having ONE TOOLBAR that will DROP DOWN ALL others in Firefox. Is that what this is? We really do need a little bit of ENGLISH here guys to share well. Will revisit to amend. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed).
Non op for many months - abandonware Rated 1 out of 5 stars
A perusal of the comments demonstrate zero response for more than six months. Non-op means lowest score - or do you want points for Paris? Will change my rating when you come back to who loves you.
What has evidently broken it for many of us, Felix, is the incorporation of cross-site script checking in anti-bad software Inside or Out of Firefox. I'm just saying, you came first, and may the stars spell out your name in the sky, but if I can figure that out that much, why can't you (and respond)?
What you may have to do, Felix, to recover is to either work around the problem (re-engineer the process) or get info on how to create exceptions for the major players (MS, Avira, McCaffey, Comodo ++.) First on the list being FireFox itself, and then NoScript.
NoScript may be a commonality here. Section 4 of the FAQ spells out the XSS action: http://noscript.net/faq#qa4_4. I'm working on this at the moment.
Worst case if you have to break ground, try a well-worded letter to the PRESIDENT or CEO (or DEVELOPER) of these companies asking for help. That's what they're there for (among other things.)
Let me know if I can be of assistance.
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
1 full star demerit because there is no option to prompt for filename. THAT MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ADD METATAGS. ARE YOU READING THIS? That's a complete oversight. REQUIRES MANY EXTRA STEPS OR LOSS OF DATA. SIMPLISTIC THINKING ON DEVELOPER'S PART SUPPOSES YOU ONLY WANT TO WATCH A VIDEO OFFLINE - not actually manage it as a file. DUMB!!!!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206-signed).
