In a little more detail...
Just another web developer.
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
After all these years, still the best. The only significant improvement for me would be to implement Venkman-like js debugging, but that's asking a lot.
For those who experience problems, try disabling other add-ons before assuming FB is causing the problem. In my experience, more often than not, it's another add-on's fault.
Useful but partially broken Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Been using FireQuery for some time, but now apparently the changes in jQuery's data interface have created problems in FQ. The addition of the "show internal jQuery data" option in the Console tab is helpful in that it gives us the old functionality, but unfortunately it breaks other things, e.g., jQuery UI and validation plugin (bassistance.de) either work incorrectly of just stop working when the "show internal..." option is checked. If not for that, I'd give 4 stars. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1-signed).
Excellent tool! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This tool is just plain excellent. Simple right-click options provide great flexibility. *Love* that I can grab an entire page (not just visible window). And the pixlr editor is fantastic. Overall beautiful, simple GUI.
Some seem to be confused about what a browser add-on can do -- remember, it's a browser add-on, not an OS add-on, so of course its domain is the browser, not the OS. This add-on does just what it should do, and it does it very well. 5 stars.
Very useful Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Works for me on 9.0.1. As useful as ever. Only significant improvement would be to make popup draggable (FF's native bookmark isn't draggable anyway, so I guess not much can be done about that). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.0.20111125.1-signed).
Indespensible, but 1.4 is flawed Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This is an indespensible add-on, but as many have pointed out, 1.4 has problems. I won't repeat them, but I'll add that I don't like how firebug windows are now shared across all tabs that have pages open on the same domain -- whether you want this behavior or not (not sure whether this changed in 1.4 or 1.3). Used to be that each tab was treated as its own instance, which is how it should be. A lot of real estate is wasted now on tabs where I don't want/need firebug open. I'd really appreciate having firebug revert to its one-instance-per-tab behavior. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.2).
